Can't help but notice she has no braces, that's really not how I remember it. Must have been slightly distracted.
Thought I was going mad - just watched the end about 4 times and didn't see any braces. Glad it's not just me!

She smiled and showed her braces too..

Yep strange isn't it. I'd have put a large amount of cash betting she had braces.

I remembered the breasts correctly though.

Should have been called "Carry on Bond".
At least some of the 'Carry On' films had a believable plot...

True - I didn't mean to cast a slur on the "Carry On...." series.

I detest "Moonraker" and consider it the nadir of the Bond films.

It's better than "Die Another Day"

Whilst it is completely silly, I do really believe it has my favourite pre-credit sequence.

I have no idea why any of you thought she had braces. I just remember the good looking petite blonde with a gorgeous smile.

I don't think she spoke in that particular scene and simply helped free jaws.

Jaws says "to us" when the two clink champagne glasses at the end I believe his only ever spoken line in any of the films.

Ill raise your die another day as the worst bond and give you a view to a kill. Woeful.

I like Moonraker too, top baddie with some great lines.
Yes, Drax was the redeeming feature of that movie. One of my favourite Bond baddie lines ever: "Mr Bond, you appear with the tedious regularity of an unloved season."

I think that the Bond team realised that they had gone a bit too far with "Moonraker". Their next production, "For Your Eyes Only" was a much more sober affair.

View to a Kill has the best theme tune. I also like that part of it was filmed in Amberley Chalk Pits, so I've seen the set many times when I have been there as a child which always fascinated me as it is quite local.

Perhaps we need a separate James Bond thread if we don't already have one?

Is that Amberley between Storrington & Arundel? IIRC the film involved Grace Jones not wearing very much??

No neither do we now, however it's a very common misremembered scene.

It's very odd

Perhaps it's because the scene made very little sense without Dolly sporting a set of unwieldly braces.

Jaws was tall and had bad metal teeth, she was small and had perfect teeth. Makes the perfect opposites attract situation. It's what attracted him to her, that and her cracking set of tits.

Indeed they were cracking, and clearly very distracting as nobody seems to have been paying attention to anything above her neckline (me included).
