Just an FYI - Bond at the Proms 2011 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTFfW29DP24
Films in no particular order...
Skyfall, Dame Judy Dench and Daniel Craig just nailed it. There was always a hint of a father/son relationship in the books and it really came to life in Skyfall.
OHMSS, George Lazenby as a tough, gritty yet vulnerable Bond. Telly Savalas, the most under rated of Blofelds and some genuinely tense scenes, Bond climbing about in the cable car mechanism, the safe cracking scene and that ending.
The Spy Who Loved Me, For that ski jump...
Soundtracks...
Louis Armstrong 'All the Time in the World'
Carly Simon 'Nobody Does it Better'
Shirley Bassey 'GoldFinger'

Similarly, Rosamund Pike in DAD.

Oh yes. Should have been the leading lady. Barbara Bach is terrible.

Oh yes, I had forgotten about Rosamund Pike. she is rather lovely. I saw her a couple of years ago at St Pancras station, she was having lunch in the Carluccio's restaurant with her friend, both with their children. She was just as lovely looking in person, even just wearing "mummy" clothes. Similarly, Rosamund Pike in DAD.
Although the 1967 "Casino Royale" is pile of dog poo - it does have an excellent theme by Burt Bacharach.

Music is top dollar and I disagree about the film. I remember watching at when very young and really enjoying it. However it wasn't until many years later that I found out it was a Bond Film.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBLeACT_KBQ
Diana Rigg every time.

Licence to kill is on ITV4 now. Any love for the film? The plot is easier then the living daylights, and it has a Maserati Biturbo(!!)
Up until Jeffrey Wright in the Daniel Craig films it's notable for the only previous double appearance by the same actor playing Felix Leiter, David Hedison who played Felix 16 years earlier in Live and Let Die.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
