Sad.

"The news was confirmed as Bafta Cymru announced the Welsh-born comedian is to be honoured with an outstanding contribution award."

ABout time.

Very sad news. Terry directed Life of Brian and the Meaning of Life as well as being an integral part of the Python cast. No man ever wore a dress with more panache. Nudge nudge wink wink say no more.

He was a great writer. I read his stories of Erik the Viking when I was in primary school.

He has Primary Progressive Aphasia, a neurological syndrome in which language capabilities become slowly and progressively impaired. Unlike other forms of aphasia that result from stroke or brain injury, PPA is caused by neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's Disease or Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration.

My 92 year old aunt is similarly afflicted, she is much more than 'very confused'.

I suspect you are replying to a Monty Python - Life of Brian quote, rather than a 'real' observation. Either way, an awful affliction for him and his family and friends.

Indeed a play on he's not the messiah.

I grew up with python and they have had a huge effect on my personality.

I feel Terry would smile at my post.

And if he didn't he would soon forget about it wink

I feel he would too, it was a fine amendment.

Graham Chapman's memorial was most amusing.
As was, Terry Pratchett's.
