It's been Jaws since I was about 16, but after re-watching loads lately I think Jurassic Park edges it.

Very close call between Heat and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, but Heat takes it for me.

No, choose one. hehe

I'd go for the Return of the King.

Making a top ten would be hard, but number 1 is easy.
Jurassic Park.

ETA some context - it was the first film I ever saw in a cinema, on I think my 9th Birthday. Imagine what that experience was like.

So far I've seen all but the Devil and Daniel Webster (now on my list).

I'll go for The Color of Money. It may be getting dated now but I love the whole vibe, the cons, the pool, everything.

I hope you like it. Think of a folksy old good vs evil tale, but filmed in the style of Citizen Kane.

I think Aliens is a great film, love it every time I see it.

But it doesn't send shivers down my spine like the Zulu soundtrack does. A great film, massively enhanced with a sheer brilliant sound track.

Tricky one, this.

Might come down to either The Untouchables (even with Sean Connery's geographically mobile accent) or Heat.

Bladerunner.

Or Sleeper.

Or The Jerk.

Or Blazing Saddles.

Damn it!

Similar for me (although it was my second, Home Alone 2 was my first a few months before), I was 11 and it was on a huge screen at the ABC in Bath, probably still the best cinematic experience I've ever had and I don't think it will ever be beaten.

I was so thrilled by the experience I pestered my Dad to take me to the cinema again to see something else...we watched Dennis the Menace (which iirc came out around the same time), never mind! He also managed to source me a terrible VHS bootleg of JP which I watched over and over for months, a guy got up to go to the loo just as the raptors appear in the visitor centre every single time!
