Firstly I wasn't really sure where to post this but General Gassing has a big audience but feel free to move it smile

Anyone been?
We went on Saturday. It's at the London film museum in Covent Garden.
I'm not a big Bond fan but I really enjoyed it. There seemed to be virtually every mode of transport that Bond has ever used from the iconic DB 5, AM V8 all the way through to DB10. There were crashed ones, partial ones and they're all the actual cars.
There was the Lotus esprit "submarine, the bmws, the Cougar from ohmss and loads more plus all the other transport from a cello case sledge up to the mini jet plane via a crocodile mini sub!
What was particularly good was that behind each item there was a screen showing clips from the film which featured them, so if you didn't recognise them you were soon reminded.
We really enjoyed it and I'd thoroughly recommend a visit

I'd second that. It was a lot better than I expected.

There were various 2-for-1 offers when I went.

I thought it was good, spend a couple of hours there.

Found it by chance the last time I was there, didn't have enough time to visit unfortunately but it is on the list for the next time I am there!

I saw the exhibition previously, when it was at Beaulieu. If it's the same collection, they had virtually everything from every Bond film ever!

My particular favourite was Goldfinger's Rolls Royce.

Just a pity they haven't got the original DB5.

Great pics! I tink I walked past this, not sure when, and it was too expensive for the time I had to spend, but if I am in the vicinity again, I wouldn't mind catching it.

I too saw it when it was at Beaulieu. A must for any Bond fan with pretty much nothing missing.
The one thing that struck me is how cobbled together some of the props are/were.
Granted they only have to look good once but there seemed to be an element of Blue Peter going on.

Bond props have often been a bit shonky on screen too, through the sheer ignorance (or laziness) of the film makers.

I went to see this last year as I'm a big Bond fan and did enjoy it although I did think it was a bit pricey. Still enjoyed it though.
