All useless, if I were him I'd have double fired Kartick and Jess, one for Ott aggression, the other for being useless

I don't know why but after last nights episode I decided to Google Natalie Hughes to see where about in Glasgow her hairdressing salon is (I am in Glasgow). I wasn't expecting to find out she is married to a gangster, has been in court for drug dealing (where 2 co-accused got 2 years in jail), has a brother who deals in pirate DVD's and has previously appeared on X-Factor.

How the heck did she slip through the net and get on the show?

You missed the fact that she looks and sounds like utter filth as well.

You can see why she's been fired. Given that her drug dealing husband was "the director in a number of companies, including a car wash, a decorating firm and a salon called VIP Boutique in Glasgow’s Gallowgate." it's not hard to believe her current businesses may be money laundering operations

Husband can't be named for 'legal reasons' which suggests he's still in the st.

Sounds like an ideal candidate for BBC employment... Last night was surely a first? Have both teams ever lost before?

Yes. I thought Kartick would be fired. I don't think he'll last long TBH.

Complete contradiction. The words "VIP" and "Glasgow's Gallowgate" don't belong together!

Quality establishment - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@55.858275,-4.221780...

Emphasis is on sun beds and tanning, which are both the same thing surely, then hair and finally beauty.

I googled that Jess and apparently she used to be a stripper, and now her business sells dresses to Z List Celebs to be seen falling out of nighclubs after appearing on reality TV programs

The business is called Prodigal Fox. There's a hastily-written blog entry on it defending her behaviour on last night's show. The Grammar Nazis could have a field day...

Hopefully Jessica and the monobrow guy will stay in for a few more weeks, it was TV gold last night.

Sugar isn't an idiot... he keeps the idiots in as long as possible as they make the good TV.

My biggest complaint with the show is that we rarely see a really strong win where an organised team have understood the challenge, agreed a workable plan and then delivered on it. Teams seem to 'win' by being marginally less hopeless than the losing team.

yes Surely the best strategy early on is to avoid bringing the 'big' personalities back into the boardroom. They may be idiots but will stay for a few weeks for the comedy value.

He's an IT guy, 5 minutes would have become 5 hours.
More importantly, he's an IT CONTRACTOR. Therefore he estimated 5 minutes expecting it to take 5 hours. Had he been allowed his 5 minutes, it would have taken 5 weeks. And then they would have had to hire PWC to sort the mess out.

Just watched last nights episode, plus 'You're Fired'. Almost unbelievable that nobody else was fired, but it makes you wonder what shenanigans are going on in the background when you read some of the stuff about the candidates!

How the two pm's survived the first ever task where both teams were so bad that they both lost is incredible.

Still very watchable tv, but it's a bit like sitting through a rigged football match (or dare I say it, F1) because we just don't know the half of it.

I think it's a mix of 'keep the dumb ones, keep the attractive ones, keep the ones with the best business plans' sorted. Which is why I think the little Indian woman will win.
