see the Nick Hewer 'chewing on a lemon' look is still there ... Karren has inherited it ...
Karen wouldn't need a lemon that's just her face.

when I see her I'm reminded of the line from the Lion King where the hyenas say "man, they are uggggleeeeeee" hehe

she has a face for radio

as for the show, possibly a bit harsh last nihgt as both teams did quite well although I was only listening as I was playing FIFA whilst OH was watching. it was a close run thing.

all these wonderfully equipped corporate superstars really are crap under pressure. I wouldn't pay them in washers

If we consider that one of the fired contestants has said on the 'you're fired' show that she hadn't seen the apprentice before and just applied to 'go with the flow' as being the truth rolleyes are we to think that another apprentice candidate also didn't know what she was letting herself in for?
I was under the impression if you apply for something on TV and go through all the audition stages then you must really want to be on TV, or on a show etc. Otherwise, it makes the show researchers/recruiters look like they're also not up to the job.

Each morning they're woken with an impossible schedule - tonight it was 20 minutes to get to Drapers' Guild. The men arrive shaved and coiffured, the women with full make-up. The journey time must be in a de Lorean. Clearly it's all for effect, but we're not kids ffs.

The woman who walked - can't recall anything about her, bit of a nonentity.
It may have been discussed (not read the entire Apprentice thread history) but isn't it 20 minutes UNTIL THE CARS ARRIVE - there's no requirement to actually be ready to leave at that point. The cars sit outside waiting until the actual leave time smile I think.

Was a bit surprised that he fired anyone this week, as the one that left was from the losing team anyway.

Is this the one when Lord Sweetener ranted at both teams in the boardroom or was that a different clip? Can't remember if it was the preview or a clip from You're fired.

Maybe it is me being cynical, but I can't help feeling that this series has been made so that the teams are more likely to fail than to succeed. Give them tasks to do in practically no time. Divide the team into two having them both do tasks where they actually need to see what the other is doing, etc, etc...

Yep, nothing to do with business acumen and, everything to do with entertainment.

ETA: Though whether the contestants know this?

Yup. Spelling the name of your product incorrectly doesn't provide the public with any confidence.

With the best will in the world, they are cycling retailers. They know it is a growing market they don't need your silly 2012 speech
