"Ridiculously ste" - the way Grainne said that had me in absolute stitches.

He has been spot on with his packaging and branding stuff, though - you can tell he manufactures an artisan product himself.

Hope Alana wins, she's got something about her. And her cakes look delicious.
I can't see how she can take what she does to a national business with the money available.

You can't build a new food plant for £250k, and sub-contracting out will hugely impact margin.

She keeps stressing she is the USP and her cakes are homemade. Neither will be true is she goes big.

The "secret recipes" won't be secret if she contracts the manufacturing out, either.

I discovered last week that I know someone who used to work with Karthik.

Given that this week a bakery in Wales was closed due to poor margin performance, I just can't see how the cake thing can work.

Courtney did really well with his pitch. Suspect he will swing this one.

No, my guess is it's been edited so he looks more st than he actually is, so that it will be a greater surprise when he wins.

Well not for us PH-ers obviously, I'm talking about the average viewer.
Sounds like a good prediction.

I think LS should invest in whoever did the presentation skills coaching. Given the transformation he's obviously a winner!

I haven't watched this for years, but the final is on and I thought I'd give it a go.

The whole thing seems more disconnected from reality than ever, very poor in my opinion.

Karen is getting on my nerves - picky, sniping and, as said by others, right up Lord Sugar's arse!

It did look like total bks, what they were doing with that presentation coach, but it obviously worked. Either that, or Courtney was sandbagging in every other pitch he was in throughout the contest.

It is different though when you start talking about your own business/job/interest compared to trying to flog cheap tat to someone who doesn't actually buy.

Look at Alana's face, she knows she's lost.

EDIT: Spoke too soon! Suralan loves a gamble.
