I still love how they build up his character.

"They stole his car, Sir, and killed his dog"

"Oh"

He's 52!

Definitely an immortal.
Unnaturally dark hair for a man of his age. Share a barber with Berlesconi/Sarkozy/any continental politician?

Really, really surprised by the first one - thought it was brilliant when I expected it to be trash. And that Mustang! Hope he gets another one.

I hope this dog survives... It could be just me, but I can watch the violent slaughter of hundreds of people on screen and not bat an eyelid, but I see one animal die, especially dogs, and it suddenly gets all dusty in the room.

Yep, me too - Doggie death bit was very, very sad to see.

Reading all the comments here, it looks like I will have to re-watch the first one - I thought it was terrible.

It was. Dare I say it but I think Taken was better.

Teaser trailer now released - definite watch on the big screen, me thinks.

Love the 'reunion' towards the end of the trailer.

Agree, first one was surprisingly good and the trailer looks like it will be more of the same. Consider me sold.

As for immortals check out Brad Pitt too, he is also 52 but if you check the trailer for his new film allied he looks about 15 years younger.

I guess having the money to pay for doctors, trainers, chef's, hair stylists, beauticians etc to keep you in tip top shape helps and I'm guessing bedding the likes of Aniston and Jolie probably helps keep you fairly young too. wink

I dunno - I'd be so low on bodily fluids I'd end up looking like a prune frown

"behind every beautiful girl is a guy sick of her st"

There's an interesting little youtube video showing Keanu doing gun training...with stuntmen, choreographers and weapons guys all saying how amazing he is...

Looked like most 10 year old boys in their bedrooms to me pulling out a toy gun in front of the mirror hehe

In a similar vein I watched a making of The Matrix documentary where they show how they did that amazing lobby gun battle scene. At the end of one take, all the film crew are clapping as they think they've nailed the shot but Keanu is insisting that he didn't think he got the last triple kick down right and he'd like to have another go

However the director says "Sorry Keanu but it takes 6 hours to reset the lobby to re-shoot the scene, it was more than good enough" and Keanu sort of does a half grimace\smile that looks like a big kid that got told he couldn't have one last go on the merry go round and that point I just knew that he was thinking fk, I really wanted another go on that thrill ride and the kick was just an excuse. After all who wouldn't want to play out that scene over and over again?

"Yeah Keanu is one of the most humble, committed actors I've ever met, first to arrive, last to leave, he lives and breathes it man..."

You mean a grown man, that gets paid to work out, drift muscle cars, let off a large range of pistols and assault rifles, get taught martial arts and probably snog the lead fitty...actually enjoys it??

nahhh..surely not....

Yeah I think I'd struggle to get out of bed for that too. hehe
