Who's the bad guy?

Rick:
Manages to destroys Hershel's Farm and all but Maggie is now dead.
Destroys the community of Woodbury killing many innocents, all because of a situation he created by handcuffing Merle in episode 2 (?) then Merle kidnapping Glen and Maggie, in the process destroying....
The Prison community they set up as the Governor took revenge.
Arrives at Alexandria, proceeds to destroy/take over, maim & kill, wants to have sex with pretty married blonde so...
Rick executes pretty blondes husband who had just accidentally killed Deanna's husband with the sword, he would have shot him before as well.
Kills 30 of the Saviours (most while asleep)
Threatens Oceanside and takes away their guns (just like Negan did to Alexandria) for no reason except they had them.

Negan:
Provides protection for the communities for the cost of providing food and equipment (12 Cantaloupes from the Kingdom!! The occasional pig and car boot full) Depending on how good they are.
Saviours who step over the line are dealt with (Saviour who shot stupid boy Pike from the Kingdom in his leg)
Doesn't take so much that the settlements cannot feed themselves.
Took more from Alexandria but only as a non-death punishment for what they did to the outpost.
Retaliation for the 30+ Rick killed at the outpost Negan kills 2 of Ricks gang, would have been only 1 but Daryl went full Southern.
Killed Spencer because he wanted Negan to kill Rick (that's called a favour Rick, for saving your ass)
Rosita tried to kill Negan, so he kills the most useless of Ricks gang (that's called a favour Rick, for saving your food)
Negan executes the attempted rapist of Sasha.

This whole show is played from the viewpoint of the bad guy, Rick Grimes.
Said the same to my wife last night, have thought they were going that way on purpose. Its pretty much accurate, you just pick a side and that side so long as you can reason why you do stuff for the greater good you can live with it, surely this is why religion was 'invented' to keep order and also have justification for any nasty stuff you have to do.
I'd say based on the baseball bat Negan is a bit worse than Rick but both are having to do what they need to do to keep their 'side' safe and fed and hopefully create a new world in their way 'religion'.

It's like Tony Blair (Rick) and Hitler (Negan)... I wouldn't want either to lead me anywhere.

I forgot the Saviours execution of the men from Oceanside, we don't know the reason behind that only their side of the story. But seeing and hearing from the Oceanside women I wouldn't be surprised if the men faked their deaths to join the saviours just to get away from them hehe
I wouldn't be surprised if they had actually killed all their men folk, some sort of 'new beginning' apocalyptic tragedy.

I still don't think that Dwight has switched over to Ricks side.
Besides, if you've read what goes on in the comics we know this is going to drag on for a bit.
TWD is my favourite show on TV & this series has almost been on a par with the farm series!

It's a fine line, but I think you are truly evil when you fling your only Doctor into a furnace for having done nothing, or when you melt a mans face with the iron from the monopoly board.

True. But the Doctor did break the rules. America still has the death penalty even if it is a bit more cuddly these days with an injection.

is next week the season finale?
Yes - doubt we will have a decisive winner or looser for a few months yet!
Cliffhanger next Monday.
Cliffhanger still residing over us in the mid season finale come Christmas.
Not this time. Greg Nicotero who is the Producer of TWD has said:

It's the bloodiest episode of TWD ever, maybe lots of walkers and Red Shirt Alexandrian's and Saviours bite the dust, but I'd bet a few named characters will die.

It won't end on a cliff hanger, but that's not to say it'll be completely resolved but it marks the end of the "march to war" era and the start of the "all out war" era. I haven't read the books so I don't know if that the Allies v the Saviours or like WW2 they Allies will win and promptly start another war between themselves, but we'll know the theme of the 8th series before it starts.

Just read the thread, it ends a few replies after your last, its a dead thread.

You have to catch up with Bates Motel. It is like an out of control train off the rails in a good way... the momentum just keeps picking up and it gets darker and darker.. i love it!! The acting is the best on television imo and the production is top notch. This final season WOW its wicked!

Do not read the fking bbc link on it, they tell you who dies.

bds, i thought they'd have maybe a censored review on it seeing as it airs tonight. Have they fk.

Its almost as bad as when they covered F1 highlights and played the results on the radio, news and internet without ing warning. bds.

They did me on the Aussie F1 the other day, front and centre of the homepage on BBC News, a picture of the winner.

I don't understand it, if you're an F1 fan, you'd watch it, if you're not do you care?

Because, it hasn't aired here.....I thought the BBC would have the fking good manners to give a review, not a critical murder away.

I mean, put it this way, when you read a review on a fking film, does it tell you or do you expect to read that Simbas fking dad, Mufasa has croaked it before you see the film.

Nice twist with Sasha. Sacraficed herself.(presumably allowed herself to be bitten by the rapist?).
