The Walking Dead Series 7 - No spoilers please.
Discussion
I'm happy to be fooled by a show or let minor details go when the sequences make sense. The gun scene was ridiculous though, they needed some expertise on how to organise it in all honesty.
Show how the Hilltop and Kingdom guys got in and presumably quietly took a few people out on the outside of the gates. They didn't bother, so how did fking horses come clip clopping in unannounced past Negan's men outside and unseen all the way round the road to where Rick and Carl were being held.
Rushed is what we should call it. The show is just unlinked set pieces from scene to scene.

Not only that, Negan, Rick, etc. were stood some distance from any buildings, how did a great big Tiger get close enough to pounce on someone by surprise without one of the other 50 or so people who were standing around facing all directions going "HOLY fk! A TIGER!"
See my post on the previous page, I think Rick and Coral were behind the houses of "Ricks Group" (the green patch to the left as you see it on the map) and the Kingdom entered through the other gate, which is just to the right of it, so they just went around the houses. Although it would help to explain this in the show if that is the case, they are getting into sonic screwdriver levels of problem solving here.I thought it was absolute drivel. I didn't intend to do this as a comparison, but whilst killing some time last night before watching the S7 finale I went back a few seasons at random and ended up watching the finale of S4 and some the first episode of S5 encompassing Terminus and also the scene where Rick, Michonne and Daryl kill that small gang with Rick biting the leader's throat out - the 60 minutes or so I watched portrayed more action than the whole of Season 7 I should think. A very stark contrast in production quality as well as writing.
Half of the episode must have shown Sasha either deliriously listening to an iPod in the dark or her dreams about Abraham, it was just beyond tedious.

Very true! Anybody else think it looks grainy as well? Is it the way it's shot? I'm watching in HD on 4K TV and don't get it with anything else I watch including sports which are sharp as anything. They all are, it seems, even on my BR box set. Almost as bad as the BSG BR box set.eps said:

I think they are now working far too hard on creating suspense and speculation, every episode is some sort of 'build up' to nothing and it just feels like one anti-climax after another. After watching a few earlier seasons again it's surprising how much more extremely violent and fast-paced it was (with some exceptions of course like the S2 farm nonsense). In the episode I mentioned above (end of S4) Rick literally tears a guys throat out with his teeth despite having guns on him, so I was disappointed it didn't go a similar way when Negan was an inch away from him explaining how he was about to kill Carl.

Having watched it since the beginning, me and the missus switched this off only 2 episodes into this season. By chance, we decided to put it on the other night to see if it was any better and lasted 30mins before getting bored and turning it off.
It was the next day that I found out it was the finale. I think thats a fair indicator of how TWD has lost its way.

So, another season of slow build up Negan battles to come
Great
Garbage people double-crossing Rick & co was predictable as soon as they demanded even more guns a few episodes ago
Agree about the A-Team comments above, very poor gun battle scenes
I don't want to bother with Season 8 but I know as soon as it arrives....................
I'm not sure how you can have a professional gun fight with people from all and every day walks of life? Surely the fact it was a mess was actually quite realistic?Great

I've always avoided the likes of Eastenders, and have never seen an episode of Coronation Street or Emmerdale. But Christ I feel like I'm watching a Soap Opera. It really is nothing more now.

I'm teetering on quitting this. It's just a Fox cash cow which they're milking for as long as possible. Whole thing should have been done & dusted by now & would have been far better off for it.M
Good luck to anyone who still thinks it's any good. They have far more patience than me!

Apart from all the obvious and already mentioned problems with the series up until now, was anyone else hoping to see that Eugene had an endgame or plan up his sleeve, only to be slightly disappointed?.
Yes, still quite like the character of Eugene despite him being a turncoat. I wonder if he will play a pivotal role in the next season. Also, I am utterly confused what side Dwayne is supposed to be on. I'm guessing Rick's as he did cut those trees down, but he was blindsided by the garbage people going with Negan.
