I'm finding it a chore to watch now.

Watched every episode since the beginning so I guess it's become a bad habit.
Agreed, starting to get a bit tedious now.
Skipped watching this week. No loss.

Getting a bit bored of bit part, one story, episodes now, think some of the stories told so far might have flowed better if they were mixed up with each other in the episodes.

I'm still watching more because I have started and want to know what happens, I wouldn't get into this if I wasn't already a viewer.

I think the problem is that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is doing too good a job as Negan. He is an out and out, shameless bully, and he's getting away with it. That is extremely uncomfortable to watch.

I'm ok with this ep. No slow walking montages etc. Filler granted but not as dreadful as previous series.

More impressed with Elvira on Talking Dead. Remember her? Slightly disturbed that she 38 when I was 14....cloud9 Need to post on the Guess who's aged thread...

You can just about get away with an entire episode focusing on one of the main characters when it involves the likes of Morgan/Lennie James opposite Eastman/John Carroll Lynch, not when it's some character you struggle to give a toss about. I can't even remember her name.

laugh her name is Tara, mentioned several times. I also highly doubt we won't see that new community again. Still, don't let that get in the way of a rant laugh

I think all the communities will come together at the end and take on Negan.

The most boring way to introduce an interesting new community. A series of dimwitted conversations and stupid escape attempts. The character (Terra?) is dumb, slow and boring. How is she not dead?

You pull an episode away from the main lot and you don't half get some wooden acting and cliché dialogue, "you have to swear!" fk off and write something worthwhile.

It may well be mentioned several times, she's still a crap character.

Thought tonight's episode was pretty good to be honest, more world expansion, more realisation that Negan's reach is pretty huge. Tara is an interesting character and another that's been quite directly effected by Negan with the killing of her GF etc. Bringing together the fairly obvious eventual overthrowing of Negan with the multiple groups, or him thwarting that plot and killing a lot more people I suppose.

It'd be better if they killed off the original characters and followed Negan and his group instead.

Okay, the premise of last night's episode was good. The delivery and some of the characters were poor. Then she just strolls back, from somewhere near the coast.

I'm usually highly tolerant of the filler episodes. I enjoyed last week's.

I'm quite enjoying the different perspectives in each episodes, it builds up the myth and brutality of the Saviours without ramming them down your throats every week. However good JDM has been so far i feel Negan is always walking that tightrope between excellent character and pantomime villian, if you keep his appearances brief or every 2-3 episodes it stops him falling.

Fun fact - the song playing when Tara walked back to Alexandria is called "Everything's f**ked", thought that was a nice little touch.

If the Ocean View community wanted to escape Negan's reach, why did they only go twenty miles away? Go to Mexico, or Canada, or Cuba or something!

Just on a sidenote does anyone keep an eye out for cameo walkers? I am a bit of a zombie film lover and throughout the seasons i have seen quite a few now. Flyboy from Dawn of the Dead, Jack from American Werewolf, Plaid shirt zombie from Dawn of the Dead, Bub from Day of the dead and last nights episode when Tera was running across the bridge covered by the sniper was the graveyard scene/ main cover zombie from Zombie Flesh Eaters. Very geeky i know but it's little things like that which make it for me.

Another great episode , it's clear they are building backgrounds to all these small groups under the bat , at some point these join together under Ricks leadership and kick the Saviours arse .

On another note , why are people watching it if bored , are they dim?
