If its anything like fking LOST. I wasted over a 100 hours on that, was hooked the first series, series two less, series three this is st, by the end it was just a case of get to the fking point. I have never felt so angry at an ending in all my life. I wish physically harm on the writers.
Lost was terrible I gave up about 3/4 way through season 2 I think, though strangely I kind of want to watch the whole thing...however, I know it'll just drive me mad!Currently though, I am still enjoying The Walking Dead, even the really slow burner episodes.

The writing of TWD is very poor, and relies on people acting in the most stupid way possible.
Character has a high powered sniper rifle
Character hides in tower and waits for chance to take out baddie
Character waits a couple of hours, sees him once but can't take the shot
Character decides to give up waiting again and do what? Storm a heavily armed compound of numerous baddies with a sniper rifle? Not exactly the best choice of weapon for assaulting a compound...
The other bit I remember from last night was hot-wiring a car with the doors open while the zombies are coming... Why was the door open? To try and make the scene more exciting..

Saying that I am only halfway though the show in total so it can all still go wrong.

I wonder if we will ever get answers to the outbreak or if these are deemed not important. Because Fear the walking dead was meant to show that but all it did was show the start, no answers.
It'd be nice get over this and for them to start moving on out in a hope to re-start society. Maybe meet a few camps with an answer.

...and they start the car with a two/three year old battery and drive off with the steering lock still engaged.DocJock said:

Lost was way better than this - it had a poor ending but at least it did something to change the story....

They left the tower because they heard on the radio that Saviors were coming to search the tower looking for walkers. The writing of TWD is very poor, and relies on people acting in the most stupid way possible.

Hot-wiring a car with the doors closed while the zombies are coming is noob 101 in the Zombie Survival Handbook. What's going to happen if the car won't start? You're going to be trapped in it, surrounded by an ever increasing amount of Zombies. Fail.
If however you leave the door open, you know you have a chance to bail if the car won't start and before the Zombies trap you.

I never did watch the last season of Lost. It got so incredibly stupid I lost interest. Right from the start it was obvious there was something you'd never find out, that was not going to be sensibly explainable. But it was good for the first few seasons.

Series 54, episode 18, the Finale.
(Impression given of a past event, life looks normal. People going about their daily life).
There is a loud crash outside a hospital, a van is hit by a car. It's contents are scattered across the road. A small now open box with the label "Extremely dangerous, keep quarantined" is visible on it. A mosquito is seen flying away towards the hospital and in through a window, biting the arm of a patient who wakes up with a start and slaps his arm, killing the mosquito. It is Rick. He suddenly starts shaking and convulsing, he dies, the machine he is hooked up to gives out an alarm. Nurse and Dr rush in, can't revive him they call a time of death. As they turn away he sits up, eyes glazed over and attacks them. Rick is infected number 1 and starts the whole chain of events.
What we have all seen previously was just a dream, reality is much worse.
awesome, except for the bit we already saw of Rick and other cops getting into a roadside ding-dong with an early infected person, that's why he's in hospital in the first place(Impression given of a past event, life looks normal. People going about their daily life).

Maybe that was a one off, which would be the stimulus to give him such a detailed, 6 series long dream. Bit like Wizard of Oz.

I dont understand why there are still so many zombies. Surely they would have decomposed by now seeing as its 5 years later
only 2 years have passed, though I have no idea how quickly bodies would decompose when infected with whatever virus it is.potentially some cellular regeneration continues?
