Name the film from the line

...because I was first to identify Equilibrium as the source of a previous quote. Are people having trouble with how this st works or what?
So.
"Death awaits you. You have made a covenant with death, and with hell you are in agreement. You're all going to die!"
Identify the movie from which the quote is taken. Then you (not some random contributor, YOU!) get to set the next quote. Quite easy, plenty of similar threads run smoothly, and it was explained quite well enough to understand by the OP himself.
Carry on....

...Jack Hawkins as the Rev Otto Witt. After Chard slaps the horse's rump to get rid of the preacher, it leads nicely into the "why us" exchange between Pte Cole and CSgt Bourne. Despite it's flaws, mostly in terms of the mistreatment of some of the protagonists for "artistic purposes", and weapons/uniform details forced by budget limitations, it's one of my favourite war films, and right up there with my favourite films of all time.GAjon - a quote please, my good man!
I though the 'covenant with death - you're all going to die' quote came from a western (The Magnificent Seven came to mind for some reason). Wrong genre, I thought, after looking up the actual answer, but if you think about it, substitute Native Americans for Zulus, US Cavalry for the 24th Regiment of Foot, and a fort in the American mid-west for a missionary station in Natal province and, hey presto - a Western...

Smokey and the Bandit."It restates the negativeness of the universe. The hideous lonely emptiness of existence. Nothingness. The predicament of man forced to live in a barren, godless eternity like a tiny flame flickering in an immense void with nothing but waste, horror, and degradation, forming a useless, bleak straitjacket in a black, absurd cosmos."

I shall refrain from answering because I had to Google that one. But in context it's a phenomenal line, although I've never seen the film. I just read the full exchange though, and now I feel I ought to..."It restates the negativeness of the universe. The hideous lonely emptiness of existence. Nothingness. The predicament of man forced to live in a barren, godless eternity like a tiny flame flickering in an immense void with nothing but waste, horror, and degradation, forming a useless, bleak straitjacket in a black, absurd cosmos."

"You mess with a bull, you get the horns" [two films]
You have to "Name the film from the line" before you can put your own quote up I'm just about ready to reach for the "Ignore thread" button too. And this one had so much potential.
If only people would read the small print in the OP's post, eh?

Snatch or Lock Stock. I'll go with Snatch as it's the least likely. So, an easy one: "One bd goes in, another comes out"
