So long as we're going down this road - evil aliens.

Never liked Bad Taste, I did go and watch Braindead at the cinema, I wouldn't watch it again, but should be fun for fans of PJ.
I'd forgotten about Braindead. So funny. "Your momma ate my dawg!" hehe
If we're disappearing down an early PJ movies rabbit hole, I'll add Meet the Feebles. An X rated muppet show.

I'm struggling to think of any circumstance where such offspring would be considered 'legitimate' . smile

Dead Man's Cards. Gritty, violent movie about a washed up boxer who takes on a job working the doors in a dodgy bar in Liverpool and ends up having to take on the local security firm when he and his partner decide not to "join" the firm and stay independent. I presume it went straight to DVD as I'd not come across it before but it was really well done.

I've seen that thumbup
I saw this film in Brighton years back. Asian Dub Foundation played a live gig/soundtrack/score on the stage in front of the screen throughout the film.

Really wish I'd smuggled in a video camera to bootleg it. The mix of people was everyone from dread-locked teenage hippies to 60 year old men in posh suits. Seeing everyone on their feet jumping around to ADF whilst watching the film was an amazing experience.

La Haine is very, very good.
We watched it in a French lesson at school.

I can still remember the whole monologue from the start. C'est l'histoire d'un mec qui tombe d'un immeuble de cinquante etages....

The Wave (2008). Brilliant (subtitled) film about a teacher's experiment to show what dictatorships are like, that gets a bit out of hand.

But anyway, your post inspired me to watch again, which I am doing now. Sensational.
