Heard an interesting anecdote form a connected individual just last week regarding this program. Apparently all the ex-special forces have been completely disowned for doing the show. There was a reunion only a couple of months/weeks ago and the people involved in both series have been banned from such events for "breaking the code".

The individual who informed me isn't (as far as I'm aware) ex-SAS but is ex-marines and knows them all quite well.
