Cancelled sky last month because offers not very good but not had one call from their retention team and is cNcells on 6th Dec!

Been sky customer for over 15yrs but current house doesn't have virgin option so they know I'm stuck.
they also have no idea you are stuck.
It's not hard to find out so they might well know. Virgin isn't even in my entire region so a basic postcode database would cover it.

Soir, there is still a few days but if not then take a new deal in your partner/dogs name.

As discussed on here by quite a few. People are ditching Sky to go down the online route.

just put in my sky cancellation request today after being offered very little discount.
I did mention that another family member actually has a much better TV,phone and broadband package and is paying less than we are - cue the well rehearsed "I cant comment on anyone elses account, this is the best we can offer you" which followed with my reply of "please cancel my sky subscription".........
just looking at our options now, I kept telling the sky guy I watch the channels if they are there, if they arent I wont be able to watch them... no big loss!

As above, assuming you have decent broadband just get a NOW TV entertainment box with 3 month entertainment pass for about £15, add movies for another £5 a month and you're set. At some point SKY will ofer you a decent deal to come back and then the choice is yours. We went from £90 a month to £36 a month for entertainment, movies and sport. Just need to hold out for a month or two and ignore their calls.

As above - speak to Bagga to save all the time spent on the telephone to sky/holding out for them to offer you a decent discount.

Not sure if I can disclose the exact deal I was offered, but it is very similar to the one above my post.

Another satisfied customer of Bagga. Been with virgin for broadband and sky for TV for over 15 years, every year a price hike, and lately virgin broadband has become almost unusable at times, due to over utilization, they just keep on selling to new customers when the system can't cope, so from prompting from others on here, I mailed Bagga, and today ditched my current sky and virgin deals, and signed up for a much improved deal at a substantial saving over the 12 month term.

Phone them back asking for this, tell them it is unfair they are offering such a deal to new customers but not rewarding your loyalty, explain that they could match that and you don't even need a new dish or box.
Is that plus line rental though? Probably work out same or as near as as he was paying before, no?
What line rental are you referring to, our line is with TalkTalk?

Just asking.

So it would be £30 plus the line rental with whoever (unless TalkTalk is free)?

Bagga just got me the same deal, i can't recommend him highly enough. The installation date he got me was also over a month earlier than the one quoted by sky direct!

Sorry if already covered but is that including line rental, too?

I've got a feeling that doesn't include Broadband/Phone at all, as it's not mentioned.

I cancelled Sky at the end of the previous F1 season after my run of "cancellation" discounts ran out. F1 and the other motorsports were the main reason I had Sky, I particularly liked being able to record a race and watch it back later in the evening as I'm often out on a Saturday afternoon. I know you can watch most of the big sports live with the online providers like Now TV but they do not seem to offer delayed broadcasting for Sport yet? I've really missed the F1 this year and I am extremely tempted to go back as the F1 is meant to be in 4k next season but if I can watch online then I don't need it.

Bagga sorted me out too, great guy. Very kindly spent his Sunday evening searching through deals which was much appreciated (and gave me a better deal than Sky!).

This deal has now expired, but just to let you know it doesn't include Line Rental/Broadband - just TV.

I do have the revised deal available.

We are about to move house next year, and i believe the new house doesnt have a sky dish installed.

If i have to have one put in, but dont need a new sub or boxes or anything, does anyone have a rough idea what i will be for a dish to be installed by a sky engineer?
