Speak to Bagga on here.
Look into using your 50% off in conjunction with the cashback site, as I did.
Bagga seems to have gotten some amazing deals, wish I found him before I took ours out, although I'm not unhappy with my deal.

I got a 60% offer on my TV box but they wouldn't honour it... First person I spoke to wasted 30 minutes of my time before saying they could only help with the TV package. Second person said the offer was expired even though I could still see it. As far as I'm concerned they can now f right off. I'm sure retentions would offer me a deal but I'm too principled to accept dishonesty.

I also spoke to Bagga when I was cancelling. He was a right gent, a really helpful chap who gave fantastic advice. If anyone chooses to stay with the scumbags, or take out their services I'd thoroughly recommend him!

From what you've just posted, it sounds to me like Sky's fantastic tv Broadband and phone service has been a benefit to you and your household/family....

To me, it seems like you're not happy with the price.
The Uk's biggest and best entertainment company have a set price for each product and service that that they provide. It's your choice as a consumer to choose which prodeuct/services you enjoy.
If the productts and services tou enjoy are Sky's top package then you the consumer must agree that a price has to be paid for the tOP entertainment the Uk has to offer.

Ask yourself why does every other company in the Uk crave Sky's amazing content?

And only Sky can deliver, as other company's can merely deliver a fraction.

Ask Bagga.......... 😉

+1 for Bagga. Signed up as a new customer in the wife's name and saved £30+ on what I was about to be paying. Even saved about a tenner on what I was already paying!

I guess there are a few like me coming to the end of the ridiculously good £25 Complete Bundle deal (Movies, Sport, HD) that was floating around last Feb/March. I just looked at my account and my bill jumps to £75 in March, a not insignificant 300% increase!

I'll be cancelling shortly and sitting on it for a while to see if anything comes up.

Another +1 from me.

Cancelled mine and new account in wife's name. All the channels plus fibre for £35 less per month.

I've had a couple of calls from retentions today, the last telling them not to waste their time, and if they looked after existing customers (11 plus years) then they wouldn't be in this 'position'.

It even took over an hour on hold to even speak to someone about cancelling!

Organised a great deal for me today and has saved me a decent amount with better equipment.

Well worth contacting him if you're coming to the end of your contract.

Hi I've been reading this thread and was wonder if anyone had any tips? We have cancelled and have 1 week to go and sky have not called her to retain us. There have been some fantastic new customer deals but they won't give me anything close to that

Thanks the link you sent wouldn't work but have found his post and figured out how to email him. Will try later since I'm not alllwed to email for the first 24 hours being a new member.

My email is hellboof@gmail.com if he sees this first??

Husband is getting a bit panicky as we near the end of our contract, he loves his F1 and football.

If I don't manage to sort before the end date does anyone know if I take basic pack and HD will that enable me to keep F1??

Cancelled this morning, was offered 50% then 60% off for a 10 month period but tied to 12 (we previously had a 12 month 60% off deal, no contract), I asked for a no contract deal, they couldn't do one, so cancelled.

Watching less and less TV and even less live TV, so will give it a go while we get the usual offers and calls from Sky.

Prices seem to be going up as well. What really gets me is the fragmentation of sports rights. If for example, you are a boxing fan and want to watch the decent fights then you not only have to pay for Sky Sports but also Box Nation, BT Sport, Sky Box Office and now the newly introduced ITV Box Office.

And they wonder why some people illegally stream?

Update, the fifth person I spoke to agreed to honour the 60% off. His maths were a bit off and he kept on offering the wrong deal but we got there in the end saving me £600 PA.

The but is, I've just noticed that sky is in a spat with discovery so we're about to loose 12 channels. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/changes-to-sky-c...

At least I negotiated a rolling contract so can cancel anytime I want.

They definitely can do a no-contract deal ... a good few months after I cancelled they emailed me a £5 a month deal on 'The Original Bundle' which was no contract. It basically had Sky One, Sky Atlantic and a mix of other entertainment channels.
