We have watched all I'm a Celeb series, the wife was saying to me last night "this is getting a bit boring and we have other things to watch",we also missed Fridays and Saturdays as we were out and we weren't that bothered.

It is either getting a bit boring and repetitive or we are just getting older.

One annoying things is that everyone gets on, there is no friction.
It is without doubt the worst series ever. Plenty of investment in trials etc, but they aren't hungry, they aren't scared by the trials, there's no sexual tension, there's no major personality clashes (now DB is out).
The tube train bit was dire really, Jordan wandered over, picked up a ticket and walked back to his seat in seconds.
Trouble is, there is no one in that camp who is scared of any of the challenges, if there were then they would have been voted for day after day, even then though, that gets boring after a while. Maybe the contestants should be left to choose between them who does the challenges more often, that seems to cause a few grumbles between them.
The most entertaining bit was the phone call challenge, this was an actual problem for the 3 of them answering and then genuinely couldn't answer them all. Maybe this is where the producers need to focus the challenges on a bit more, less brawn, more brain.
They do seem to have been given far to many 'treats' though.

Agree on that. Its a bit boring this year and I think alot is down to the fact they are too good at the challenges. Most of the fun comes from people getting hungry and that leads to splits in the camp, rowing between them and eventually arguments. Everyone gets on well and its dull as dishwater.

Occurred to me last night. Soemthings been bugging me for weeks. Couldn't put my finger on it.

Ola Jordan. When she speaks, sounds like Henning Wehn.

Only watching it out of habit this year and in the hope something might change.
Thought Martin was going to rock the boat at first and we might get some aggro going however he has settled into the pack and hardly heard now.
Even the ant and dec jokes are painful, probably caused by the lack of anything going on in the camp.
They chose a very bad group this time.

Hmm... I don't hear that at all, but I do hear Charlie Brooker's creation Barry stpeas whenever Jordan speaks.

Sounds like I'm one of the few that is enjoying it. I was sick of the arguing and lack of food last year when it turned into the Lady C show. It's good to watch for a couple episodes but 3 weeks of that bh was too much. I think it's great that everyone gets along although a bit more of a challenge is needed in some of the tasks.

I see Lady C is still looking for a bit of fame, telling the papers about getting a serious strooping from Larry Lamb yuck

I'm also enjoying it smile and like that they all get along and 'smash' the challenges.
Perhaps a few more brain challenges should be a back up plan for the future.

Has no one noticed that this was fake/fixed? When Ola finished her bit to find the golden ticket she walks past the "Keiths Dateline" poster and there is clearly no ticket there (@ 57 minutes in) yet when Jordan gets up straight after to do his bit next surprise surprise there is a golden ticket just sitting there! Obviously placed and I guess he was too scared of the snakes to do the trial properly. He even glances up at the ticket before 'finding' it a few minutes later, and in hindsight everyone's reaction after he 'finds' it is hilariously false!

Shame as its really shown that there is too much fakery and I was enjoying the show but more fool me for thinking it's in anyway straight!!!

I thought the sequence when they all shouted "look behind the posters" was a bit contrived. There was nothing to suggest that a ticket could be behind them, and the celebrity had hardly begun to look anywhere else.I suspected skulduggery.

In addition, during the challenges Ant and Dec frequently shout suggestions like " maybe it could be in the hole" or "have you thought to look upwards" and similar. It's just bonkers - they're being helped so much I don't see where the challenge is.

Possibly a conscious decision by producers for a "softer" series this year due to all the other carp that's going on i.e Brexit, less agro more peace, works for me.

Good episode last night, plenty of laughs.
I tend to agree that it does make a nice change seeing a 'happy camp', I just think they've got off lightly with the way they've breezed the challenges. Saying that, Jordan did well last night in his, very unlucky to be voted off, came across as a really likeable bloke.
As others have said, maybe a few more brain based challenges next season, the 'critter' ones are getting a bit tiresome.

I like that they get on this time. And I think they've chosen good celebs (maybe because I've actually heard of half of them!) rather than the usual vacuous reality stars. The only one that really annoys me is Scarlett as I feel she is always putting on an act.

Maybe his grandad had something to do with that after 1939.smile.

(I looked it up to see if they lived near each other, but Henning is from Hagen which is right on the western side of Germany, and Ola is from Nasielsk which is near Warsaw. Pity - would have made a good "Who do you think you are" episode.)

Why are Ant and Dec constantly mentioning the venue "Tweedshire"? Are they on some sort of bonus based on the amount of name-dropping?

Also I'm a bit concerned about Dec's faux "black accent" when he says things like "the lines are now closed". Am I imagining this, but he's putting on a sort of racist impression of a black person circa Bernard Manning. I find it very uncomfortable. Or am I being racist by imagining this?
