Has Wayne Bridge never heard of Morse code or what?

Thick pair of twunts on the light.
I'm guessing it was deliberate on the part of the production crew. Selecting the pairings to provide maximum entertainment. The task really wasn't all that difficult, but they didn't seem to realise how important it was - no stars, no food.

Wayne Bridge. I think the majority of PL footballers regarded him as being as thick as pigst didn't they?

That's some Award!

Is Baker in it yet? The O/H said he wasn't.

I assume someone from the production team stepped in to stop Dumb and Dumber totally cocking it up after their first attempt.

Flash, flash, double flash. Idiots!

Must have. No way they suddenly used a bit of common sense on this as they don't have it.

The younger generation are used to gadgets. Give them a real man's toy like an Aldis Lamp and they haven't a clue. Clearly they would be unable to recite Wuthering Heights in semaphore.

My 17 year old daughter has never used semaphore and she had a fit of laughter a these two idiots as soon as they came up with their plan for 'two flashes' for a dot. She wasn't even in the girl guides/scouts either.....

And they aren't kids, Wayne Bridge is in his late 30's ffs.

I got a bit confused with my little joke - it was Julius Caesar on the Aldis Lamp. Wuthering Heights was indeed using semaphore flags. Monty Python never dies.

I felt sorry for Joel Dummett - he seems a sensible and likeable bloke. He had to interpret the useless lamp signals from two retards, all the time enduring the 8-year old girl screams from Adam. Little wonder the info passed on to base camp was so garbled.

The guys in the challenge last night really were pathetic. A sad window on modern society.

Well done to Scarlet and Carol for chomping down on porno offal.

I think they dealt with it the right way - making a joke of the whole thing and laughing their way through it. Worrying yourself to death is the wrong way.

Danny Baker doing this because he won't have the chance to ruin Top Gear again this year?

I used to be quite a fan (he's done some good work on GLR/Radio London), but I'm getting a bit bored of him.
I find his show on 5 live particularly dull, and switched over to Huey on 6 Music a few years back.

It's the interviews that take up a quarter of the show with generally dull guests that kill it for me, and being Chris Evans's lackey certainly doesn't help either.
Don't knock DB. He's an original. He does not conform. He's a spod and a geek. He's an enthusiast.
Don't wish him gone, nor his like.
You'll miss him.
I like him, I just find the 5 live show a bit dull.
his biog gone to sea in a sieve is ace

Really enjoying this and it's looking like one of the funniest line-ups for a while. I like that they don't bother with the X-Factor tales of misery and woe over piano music, and just concentrate on making it entertaining. It's old-fashioned entertainment in many ways, edited for the comedy, the interplay between the group and jiggly boobs. smile

In fact, I can't help thinking that a couple of decades ago when British TV used to understand and pioneer comedy, Scarlett would be a massive star by nw. She's pure comedy and the kind of person that used to be given a platform before TV execs forgot what comedy is about.

I really have to shake my head when these supposed adults say things like "Is Didgeridoo even a word" and "What's a Platypus"

We all know these things because we heard it all from Rolf Harris. Whatever happened to him..........?

Wayne Bridge reckons he's indecisive. I think your previous football managers could have told you that mate - nothing new here. (Did anyone else notice one of his tattoos was "blurred" by the camera? Maybe it was a picture of his child, or maybe a massive cock and balls.)

What was the opening music tonight? I recognise it, and think it was once the music for a TV programme - anyone enlighten me?
