Happy with that. It underlines to me that they where/are the key elements of Top Gear not the Stig, the track, the theme tune etc. Quite literally put them in the middle of the desert in a tent and it still works

The P1 really seemed a handful!
The new test track looks awesome, better that it's bumpy so more representative of the real world.

That was rather good, well done them. Taking Top Gear, ramping it up a bit and removing the bits that quite a lot found boring. If you had a criticism it is that it isn't 'English' enough, but they have to appeal to a global audience.

Looking forward to next week.

more of the same from Top Gear. To be honest if you liked Jezza and co in TG you'll likely like this, there were a couple of points that overstayed their welcome but by and large I loved it

Yes, they did make a bit of a point about that. But then they have, well, got a point.

irked I had great hopes for this but this episode was a bit poor...maybe next week will be better.

Too many half baked gags and only one 'film' and one sort-of car review. Guess they had to set the new show up but the guest and RAF gags ran on a bit...also the opening sequence was a bit st after they said it cost about half the budget!

Anyway, I'll keep watching of course just hope it'll improve!

There goes my chances of getting to bed early.

Looks good so far, Hot House Flowers, followed by the 918 v P1.

Fair bit more than they ever used to do.

Good news.

I was full of high hopes...

I'm afraid it was as bad as any of the last 4 series of uninspired, overly scripted guff that made up ye olde TG.

It was better than any number of Downton Abbey or Antiques Roadshow mashups could be, but it was still just a bit crap, though with a massive budget.

5/10, but 4 of those marks are because it had cars in it.

"Overly scripted". I see this trotted out time and time again and I do wonder what other tv shows people are watching that aren't? If it wasn't we'd be watching on the off chance that something entertaining might happen and how would that be better?

Overly scripted? good tv doesn't usually happen on accident!

Clarkson is a millionaire but he won't get his green teeth sorted or unruly eyebrows trimmed.

FFS, I'm not expecting the Rylan-look but at least look presentable on TV.

And why do I have to look at his gut in profile??? hurl

Anybody who didn't enjoy that, is wrong.

That is all.
