I thought the intro (with the 3 Mustangs) was brilliant. I enjoyed the Holy Trinity (although there was FAR TOO MUCH time spent drifting around corners). American Stig was genuinely rubbish. I'm not too sure how the "Different Country" every episode is going to work out. The chemistry with the audience was lacking (I doubt if anybody gets British humour like the British)
It would be nice to have more "cars" and less cocking about tbh.
There's gonna be less cars and more cocking about in future episodes. It would be nice to have more "cars" and less cocking about tbh.

Amazing ! They managed to change nothing at all from what was an already stale show on the Beeb.
It might be slightly better if they keep to actually having decent cars , but if they go back to the same old fake caravan crashing crap and and some of the long boring drives they did, it really will be boring. Old TG was deadly dull when padded out with this type of unfunny drivel.

I'm not too keen on South Africans(my O/Hs boss was one for a while, an utter ). Do nice people live in Dubai?
My point was they went all the way to the states to film the show in the middle of nowhere in some crappy desert, which doesn't appear to have been that great an idea. Will this continue?
I also used to work with a South African girl that said about black people "the ones in your country are okay but the ones in ours are animals"
They really don't do themselves any favours.

It's a good job yoor theory is BS or we'd all be ass like you.
I wanted to love episode 2, and whilst I did laugh and find it mildly entertaining, the whole soldier thing got boring very quickly with the die repeat crap. It was ok, but nothing special and got rather tedious after 3/4 repeats. Still worth a watch.
Anyone know where they are for week 3?

Disagree. Who gives a toss what those idiots at the Guardian think?
Let them have their little whinge....we'll just crack on and enjoy the programme.

Trouble is the guardian is right, I was expecting top gear +++ with the budget and it is a bit lame, just like Top Gear on BBC. The programme is too scripted and dull, last week Hammonf was the arse, this week James with his "car", the tent bits are just bland, nothing about cars coming out now as it was filmed ages ago, no interaction with the audience, what is the point?
I came into it expecting exactly the same as TG, so you can see why I'm happy with it Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
