I found it a bit hit and miss, really enjoyed Harry Enfield as the Queen though.

I enjoyed the "Am betta dan yu" sketch. Don't remember anything else though.

When did Walliams switch from charity work to trying his hand at comedy?

The last two posts sum up why I won't be watching it.

David Walliams is as funny as Norovirus (see also Matt Lucas) and I've never laughed once at anything he's done. The Fast Show was brilliantly written, had characters to identify and was superbly acted with very few weak parts.
Walliams manner and expression always puts me in mind of a homosexual serial killer. Can't abide the man's work.

However I'm sure he is quite lovely in life no doubt.

No. What he is doing now isn't really comedy is it.

Added to my 'completely unfunny' list...along with Miranda and Citizen Khan.

Yep dire, everything he does straight/funny/writing is dire. Can't stand the bloke and I don't understand why he gets so much exposure - do the BBC think he is gay? I mean they only kept Lenny Henry on the books for 1 reason, and it wasn't his 'talent'.

Lord this is bad. That sketch with Sheridan Smith singing on the cruise ship looked like something a couple of kids would put on their Youtube channel. Dire to the point of becoming annoying.

I do wish Beeb would invest in new talent, rather than feeding the unfunny like those already mentioned in this thread.

Walliams seems to be on the TV constantly at the moment.

Walliams natural hunting ground is in mainly unscripted ad-lib situations like on the X Factor panel or as a guest on the Johnathan Ross show where he can do his camp routine.

Because of this, and because Little Britain 'wasn't bad', we thought we'd record the Walliams and Friend series.

Bad move. What a total unfunny borefest it turned out to be.

Thought the one with Sheridan Smith was the best one, but only because of her performance and not his.

I think Walliams is losing the plot somewhat. His celebration programme of Shirley Basset was awkward, unfunny and a bit embarrassing. And the Blankety Blank Xmas special remake he hosted missed the spot by a bloody mile.

Brilliant....homosexual serial killer, perfect description of his leery manner and expression.

The missus and me have enjoyed the shows, more for the guests really, Harry Enfield is always good and Hugh Bonneville was funny, particularly as the priest at the funeral.

They really weren't, we just remember all the classic bits and those are what get repeated.
I totally agree. M&W were weak much of the time.

The problem with the BBC is they sign someone up to a contract, say 3 years, just as an example and then have to think up shows to put them in.
It's happened with Jonathon Ross in the past and others. We then get them doing stuff they are not good at.

Look at HIGNFY,we get the same guests over and over again. It's as if they only have a small pool to pick from
Very good point. Never thought of it that way.

There is the odd bit of Walliams that I find funny but it's getting harder and harder to find.

Didn't realise Lenny Henry was gay.
