Wow, it's number 6 on the list!!!

Latest one showing signs of diminishing returns though, the formula can't be getting old after only 8 films surely... :Spin:
I guess it sells in China. Don't see much room for crossover though. A monster universe could provide...what, 20 films? MCU is currently up to 15.
fast plan was for 10 films plus spin offs-never realised it was that profitable though!!

Saw this at the weekend. I enjoyed it, I'd say it was solid. Nothing amazing, but enjoyable and without any epic stupidity.

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic: $31,668,375 18.3%
+ Foreign: $141,800,000 81.7%

Hmmm, budget is 250 mill, so 77 mill in the red....hopefully this 'franchise' has been euthanasied before it has begun.

You used to be pretty good at predicting, but it looks like you've had a crisis of confidence now. Maybe with the help of a good woman...

Watched this last night and I have to say it was very very average. I can't believe Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe actually agreed to be in this movie. OK I guess the big pay check helps but both actors are usually pretty good at picking decent films to be in. This review says it far better than I could but it really is B movie fare with a couple of A list actors.

I never thought I'd say this but the Brendan Frazer versions, especially the first one are much better than films than this.
