I've never seen this guy before and just stumbled across him whilst having my breakfast, so for the entire last ten minutes since switching on I've had my head battered with his non stop interrupting. His guest (in today's case Boris) barely starts answering his question and he's butting in aggressively with an argument.

I'm guessing he's trying to be Paxman-like with his grilling of the guests but he's just irritating and unwatchable. So is the guy actually intelligent or just an arrogant tit?

Anyway, I've flicked over to Sunday Brunch now so normal service has been resumed. wink
The guy just got me so wound up I thought I'd ask who the hell he is?

Boris was on Andrew Marr earlier (when I had my breakfast). Marr did the same thing, very irritating, switched it off in the end. What's the point in asking Qs, if your not going to let them answer.

Most of these hosts are more interested in boosting their own ratings and egos that getting some proper answers. They all try and get that 'big scoop', by pushing interviewees into a gaff or mistake.

I can't stand Peston and always switch over when he is on the TV. He must believe his annoying delivery of s-l-o-w-i-n-g down then really speeding up makes him seem more interesting. It actually makes him sound a complete tit!!

Peston is a smart chap, and I've read that his delivery is a mechanism to help with a stammer, but I still find him incredibly annoying. Thankfully he has moved to ITV so I don't have to put up with him on the BBC anymore.

Andrew Neil for me.

Glad it's not just me then. I needed a rest after ten minutes of that.
