I don't think this is a series. I think this is a one-off film that was originally intended for the cinema but was picked up by Netflix instead.

Watched it earlier, was a good movie, a solid bit of sci-fi.

It had an interesting premise but the creatures themselves were poorly realised on the small (50") screen.
