I'm up to Ep. 6 with this so far, glad to have something decent to binge on.

Thought more people would have been watching it, it was reviewed as "the next stranger things"

Good to hear some recommendations. It's on my list.

Without giving away spoilers: I assume it is a sci=fi/fantasy thriller mystery from the trailer. Is that fair? The wife likes' her thrillers, but too much sci-fi and it can be a problem.

She did like "Stranger Things".

The wife has been watching this and when I got home yesterday evening she was part way through episode 5. Weird... very weird, definitely need to have watched 1-4 to get it I suspect!

First time I have watched a film, and felt like I was taking a journey, like good books do.

It is strange, seeing part of a later episode without any context would be pretty confusing laugh it's confusing watching it all from the start

I'd say this is les sci-fi than stranger things

Saw this on the spotlight section the other day but the scores weren't that high. They seem to have picked up since then.

I like the look of it.

In other news Netflix are making a ten part series from Richard Morgan's Altered Carbon novel.

The novel is superb, action-packed SciFi. It has two sequels.

So AC as a series works out it could be an ongoing Takeshi Kovacs series...brilliant.

The biggest problem is the ending. the 'dance' is a bit amateur as well, but up to the end it is a good ride.

Finished today, feel the same as above, good start, lost its way, ended crap. If a season 2 is made doubt I would watch it

as above..

it was all going so well until .... ... they decided to be able to open up a total to an alternate dimension by doing a daft dance... really liked it up the that, the dance thing really was a poor choice of plot line...

It was OK, but it didn't need to be a full season of episodes.

I really enjoyed this,

the ending was slightly disappointing, only in the sense that I wanted more answer. But was great how it raised so many questions

The dance thing looked weird but was it really any more ridiculous than magic wands, dilithium crystals or sonic screwdrivers.

I've not heard anything about this, apart from from vague FB references, and this thread doesn't really give any info about the programme.
What does your above sentence mean, the series was too long?
