Good Call kdri155 - add my nomination too. Still play the haunting music track now and again.

Last night watched BBC4 showing the early BBC documentary introducing Hopkins, Hurt, Gambon, Bates, Jacobi, Caine el al ( the original angry men tutored by Olivier ) and the staging of a complete Shakespeare appealed. And I Claudius.
When these were on TV I was out getting a life but reckon I missed some great drama in its time.

I saw a clip of that recently and I'd forgotten how much they got away with, the entire cast and crew would be in jail before the first episode was finished now!

I remember seeing a repeat of Some Mothers Do Have 'Em as I remember how funny it was at the time (I was quite young). It was bloody dreadful. Unfunny, cringe making and only really held together by the stuntwork. By the end of it I really wanted to smack the character in the face.
