Blake's 7. Asked many times to the BBC and they always say NO. Think it was sold to GOLD or something a few years back.
I have got all of them on DVD - looks very dated now but the drama & tension is still there

Another vote for This Life.

What I'd really like is for BBC to do what 4od do with the old series 'Box Sets' (Teachers, Ultraviolet, Garth Merenghi's Darkplace...), although that would go against what they've set up with the BBC Store charging for stuff frown .

Between the Lines - don't think it was ever repeated.
That's been on late at night recently on something like "Drama". I don't think it's on at the moment, but certainly in the last 3-4 months, I noticed it when they stopped showing "Spooks" on Saturday night.

ETA: http://drama.uktv.co.uk/shows/between-the-lines/ (from the comments it seems it was more like 6-7 months ago).

I think the trouble with a lot of these is that they're available on DVD, so rather than trying to shoe-horn an old series somewhere into the broadcast schedule for a small number of viewers that might actually like it, it's easier (and probably more cost-effective) to point you to the shop.

I enjoyed a series called "Attachments", which was set in a dot-com start-up, but that's only out on VHS and only the first series. I liked it, but not enough to buy a VHS, convert to DVD and sit down and watch it through, especially as the second series wasn't released.

I'd like to see some of the '50s and '60s programmes again, 'Z-Cars' for example though from what I've read, many recordings from that era were lost - if recordings were made in the first place.

This was on BBC4 quite recently, last year I think. Set me up quite nicely for watching the film version which was on not long afterwards.

I enjoyed that at the time, but not so much on later viewings. Again, on DVD, my local "craft and antiques" place had a copy floating around.

My Missus didn't watch This Life and was quite surprised to find out Rick from the Walking Dead was in it and not American!

And some more Gp races. maybe from the 50s, and even the 30s races at Donington.
You may be lucky - there was never any TV coverage of them per se - just Pathe news reel type stuff. I expect you've seen much of what exists already - especially Donington in the 1930s

No doubt it'd look very dated today, but I wouldn't mind watching "Survivors" again.

(For those too young it was a post apocalyptic drama that ran for three series in the 70's)

Wife Swap - specifically the episode with "Bonny" the "mindful wife" who dressed like a tart, did what she was told and gave her husband a seeing to every time he came home from work.

I would second Naked Video, used to love that show. Also:

Police Squad
Garth Merenghi's Darkplace
Look Around You

Oh, and it's still quite recent, but if they could make more Spaced, that would be awesome.

I mentioned that one earlier, the BBC did show one of the original episodes when they launched the remake and you're quite right, it did look dated. But "Day of the Triffids", from the same time, didn't.
