Joint BBC/Amazon production. Not out until 2018 though.

One of my favourite books.

I've not seen any Pratchett done well on telly or radio.

Gaiman's output has had a notable hit, but I hope sky and the beeb dont mess it up like they have done before, as Good Omen's one of my favourite books.

Originally I thought the guy from Monty Python was going to put this out as a film and then Kevin Smith beat him with the awesome Dogma.

The radio version was pretty good (as was Neverwhere) but it'd have to be really good to cut it in the visual world!

The best Pratchett I've sene on tell was Cosgrove Hall's, Truckers, a most excellent addition to the book.

Always thought this could make a good movie (don't think I'm alone in that), but it's not going to be easy. There's probably a nice and accurate prophecy about it, somewhere.

Forgot about this. Looking good, might have to re-read the book.

Love that they have Queen on the trailer.

I was worried when I heard this was being made for TV and I really struggled to see David Tennant as Crowley (loved Peter Serafinowicz in the R4 series) but that trailer looks promising and I think it might just work. Glad Josie is reprising her role as Agnes

One of my favourite books of all time

Just by chance came across the trailer for this - looks very good. Casting looks good too, Miranda Richardson as Madame Tracy is inspired. Little concerned about Jack Whitehall playing Newton Pulsifer, and Adria Arjona looks ridiculously hot to be playing Anathema, but have to see how it turns out.

I went to the South Bank centre last night to see Neil Gaiman being interviewed by Kirsty Wark about the new series. Neil Tennant and Michael Sheen joined him on stage.

It was interesting and I'm very much looking forward to the series starting. It sounds like they've paid quite a lot of attention to ensure that fans of the book and Terry Pratchett are given a treat - so keep an eye out for partially hidden gems.

I am concerned about some of the reviews which comment on the slowness and editing. When Hogfather came out I was really excited but it was a bit of a mess with piss poor editing being the main problem. The Colour of Magic wasn't great either, however Going Postal was a lot better.

Dunno if I can watch it. weeping

From the trailer it looks like Amazon Prime only, is that correct? Or does it just have that as it's a joint effort? Will it be on BBC?

I had no idea that one of the Pet Shop Boys was there.

I think you meant David wink
