Could be an idea, if enough people are gonna be watching. Are sky doing ep 1&2 on the same night?

Otherwise sky will be 2 weeks behind.

I think the lack of discussion says as much about the programme as discussion can.

Have watched episodes 1 and 2 now, I am not sure if I am going to bother getting to the end of it yet. I probably will though, as I feel a sense of loyalty to 24 as a series.

I know what you mean, although Episode 2 only aired last night on NowTV and so there wasn't anything to discuss...

It seems fairly standard 24 fare - sometimes you think would they really be able to get away with that and that..? Obviously some twists to come - trying to spot them already.

It is well produced and a great action show. Just viewing it for what it is.

I watched ep 2 last night.

I liked the ending, hero holed up in a police station, but you feel someone's just going to either say "Arrest him and bring him to CTU" or "Let him go with the money in the name of Homeland Security".

Somehow, though, it's not quite "24" - I guess with Bauer, I cared if he lived or died, but I've not really connected with the new characters.

The people at CTU seem very one dimensional to those in the past too.

No worse than the later Strike Backs, though, to be honest - I'm just watching at that level...

I'm thinking he'll "blow" his way out with the explosives he had or possibly the CTU Director will help him... or not..!

ikwym about the CTU operatives - maybe that's why there was a bit of a rumour about Chloe making a reappearance..

Same. I'll probably keep watching for now. It has been ticking off every 24 cliché so far. In some ways not having Jack Bauer in might ultimately prove to be a good thing. I was very tired of 24 by the end of the last series.
