Only caught glimpses of an episode last year appears a good concept.

Got ladies in it too how can you fail?

I wouldn't say watching. Its on because Mrs wants to watch it but I'm on here & about to go for a shower before Apple Tree Yard comes on.

We watch it every year, if only in the hope of seeing some vapid sleb get their comeuppance with some horrific neck injury (Beth Tweddle excepted). How they continue to get insurance we'll never know but it is compulsive viewing even if you have to FF through divina's continued gurning.

What was Gareth Thomas doing at the start with cock thrusts? Then gobbling a cake and showing his mouth full of food?

Pissed?

It's usually a good watch.

The actual jump looks a bit tame this year.

Yes, they do it every year-if you're not skiing that night you're on it.

Well fine for transient viewing.

For non skiers that Jump section is MUCh steeper in real life the camera doesn't do it justice.

Slalom looked like a Red run so again for some who've just started to ski that's a punchy gradient to attack

It wasn't a green and if a blue at the upper end - especially given the elevation surely.

Has anyone been to this resort and can verify via the map what colour he run is?

I've been watching it. I think episode 4 is when Bradley Wiggins gets injured.

He pulled out of the Cross Skating racing 2 weeks ago due to injury. is the cracked bone a different injury to why he pulled out of that event?

Don't know - I read he pulled out in episode 4 in a newspaper article a few weeks ago. It's a pre-recorded show, so should find out what happens tomorrow night.

I haven't watched an entire episode. The meaningless drivel spouted during the endless interviews is offputting enough, but the actual jumps are such an anti-climax.

It's bonkers - someone speeds headfirst at 50mph on a skeleton, and then pays the penalty of being slowest by jumping about 10 metres on installed channels. What's scary about that? The skeleton should be the penalty event - they should rename the show.

It might be pre recorded but the jump is live and so was the downhill slalom and the slopeside was live too. So far only the training and the skeleton is pre recorded

Easy watching TV with winter sports
