For the first time I watched much of it on x30. Not impressed with what I'm seeing.
Not surprised in two minutes...!

Wouldn't mind a normal review of that bike and a lap time too, would be nice to mix things up a bit.

I love the Chiron, much better looking than the Veyron, the styling matches the performance this time and look a far more complete package. And no special rims/tyres this time so will be a second-hand bargain without the stupendous maintenance bills biggrin

I enjoyed seeing a bike on top gear, that said Hammond rode the Vincent Black Shadow in the train Vs car Vs bike race so it's hardly breaking new ground.
Indeed, back in 1998....

Enjoyed that one as much as last week's.

All you moaners, I really do wonder what you want from Top Gear, it's a well shot hour of car stuff that has to appeal to non car people too. confused

Another really good episode. Harris nailed the chiron review. Race was a bit 'samey' but plenty of nice metal and scenery to look at.

Shame they didn't make more of the bike though.

I'd go with that!

Oh and, when they asked 'what was your favorite website'...

Liked that

Chiron - I was never a fan of Veyron, but I like this for some reason. Maybe the Veyron was too hyped, which turned me off it, and this a bit more subtle. Be cool to see 300MPH though.
SIARPC - I don't generally like TT's music, but he was the best guest they've had so far this series.
Twingo - Was OK, not really my thing. Pac Man stuff was OK. The 3 teenage stig car race on the track was good fun though.
Race - Yes it was a bit staged, but it was enjoyable. Was clearly MLB riding as the lines around corners weren't smooth, but believable as a person who rides a bike but isn't Lorenzo. What was good was the banter at the end at the hotel looked and sounded NATURAL! SO they are getting there.

8/10

what I'm most surprised is how little they use Rory in the season so far. I liked him on the taxi trip. But most of his stuff has felt "add on" to the main 2 presenters. Someone earlier said "He's the new Jason Dawe" which is a bad thing for Reid! Hopefully they'll get him out the studio with them more often. Let the natural chemistry of the 3 leads start to gel.

Enjoyed that, best one so far for me, Rory was like a spare thumb tonight, what exactly is he supposed to be bringing to the show? They could easily just use MLB and Harris, they seem to be clicking and building some rapport now.

I imagine until they're using cold fusion-powered hover saucers, the whole car and bike thing is probably going to be a bit samey on Top Gear.

Agreed. He's curiously childish

MLB looked supremely laid back this evening. Very chilled and on form. I like the guy's TV persona.

That was great! Brilliant petrolhead TV and I even thought TT was alright, they all clearly had chemistry from the last series.

Hmmm

The worst bit of old top gear was the star.

Now it seems to be half the show and even even worse with the 'stars' they are having in. The convo was extremely childish and self congratulatory.

The race bit bored me. The pacman but was ste and I still don't like Chris Harris style reviews but it looked good.

Warming to Matt though.

Better and better, the rapport is becoming more relaxed and they're not above self parody. A most enjoyable hour.

Anyone else think that MLBs review / segment on the Abarth 124 was brilliant? Something really clicked for me with him during that film.
I was bit miffed a certain Fiat sporty car that was sold between the old n new 124s was completely ignored.

So it's FWD,doesn't mean it should be ignored....irked

It's getting better, I found the star in a reasonably priced car bit boring on old top gear and it's worse on new top gear but can fast forward it.

Still feels verrrry scripted and Rory who seems like a decent bloke, they seem to of just pushed him to one side now he doesn’t get much of a look in on the episodes main feature!

Some people need to go back to the first season of Hammond, Clarkson and May and see how wooden and scripted that was!!
