I'm quietly optimistic. Very quietly. But then I'd rather watch Jay Leno's Garage than new TG or GT.
Anybody have a date when it'll be broadcast?
Can't find anything other than it's starting in spring.Anybody have a date when it'll be broadcast?

Looking at the DM comments, there is not a lot of optimism that it will be a good show http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-42207...

Three non-native immigrant presenters.

Hardly surprising is it?
Three non-native immigrant presenters.
??? I thought Reid and Harris were British.Three non-native immigrant presenters.
What do you mean by 'non-native immigrant' and, bearing in mind the global audience why do you think this would be a detrimental factor?
Interested to see what they do with this series. Got to admit I thought the Chris Evans reboot was terrible, too much squeaking, too much awkwardness and not enough laughs - I tried watching the NSX episode on the way back from the States at the weekend, and had to switch off as it was too painful.
However, I like cars and another good car show on top of GT would be most welcome, so lets see how they get on without the ginger one. Trailer looks promising, if a little TG by numbers - and the sketch with the actuary seemed to be aping Clarkson Hammond and May a bit too much, but let's see how it goes.

I'm really looking forward to the new series of Top Gear as although the last effort was poor in parts, there were some glimmers of hope.
I'd give The Grand Tour 6/10 as it felt awkward and often just not funny. They really missed a trick by not exploring the countries they visited and the car culture of each place. Instead they just pitched up a big tent and showed outdated car reviews and overly scripted repetitive nonsense sprinkled with the odd good bit (IMHO). The track looked like an afterthought and whoever thought The American was funny or entertaining should be sacked.
Two car shows. Bring it on.
