I'm in Maldon. Taking my wife's younger sister for the 50:50 gender split (wife is pregnant and doesn't fancy standing around in a cold hanger hehe.) thumbup

Looking forward to the new TG series after the disappointment of TGT. Just a shame Eddie Jordan will appear, but hopefully not very often.

This is a positive move for me
Well, it's reasonably priced, but wasn't part of the appeal of this segment supposed to be that it's quite a mediocre car that a celebrity wouldn't normally want to be seen in? The Mini was too cool and the GT86 is arguably even cooler.

Looking forward to another new start.

I don't mind occasional Eddie and Sabine .

Not a patch on Jay Leno show as mentioned.

If anyone hasn't seen them already check on the TG YouTube channel for Rory Reid's Road Trips. If this is indicative of what we expect next season then I'll be happy.

Yes it's all a bit formulaic and stale, but then so is 99% of what you see on TV. When was the last time anyone actually did anything new? First season of 24?

But then I'd rather watch Jay Leno's Garage than new TG or GT.
Jay Leno's Garage was an excellent show, far better than TG or GT imho.

I can only find fault with his trademark, long sleeve, denim shirts. Not a brilliant choice for southern California.

Other than that, Leno's is an excellent show.

I'm going this weekend..hated the first series as it was a load of predictable bullst.
Giving this series a go, but I'm still skeptical about the presenting line up.
Will report back once I've been

Absolutely brilliant. The chemistry between LeBlanc, Harris and Reid is great, the new studio looks much better and the filmed segments were just as slick and well done as ever.

The new GT86 Star in a Reasonably Fast Car segment was good too, mixes it up a bit and the guest stays around a bit longer to join in. Was good with yesterday's guest who was great fun (had a good chat too).

On the basis of yesterday I'm rating it above the Grand Tour.

Oh and those going, wear comfy shoes. We were standing from 12:45 to 7:15. It ran far longer than they were expecting, but it's a new studio and setup so a few kinks to work through.

And it gets quite warm in the studio, but was chuffing cold waiting around outside for a couple of hours.

I've got tickets for the 12th March recording.

I heard yesterday's guest has a split personality...

Thanks for that positive review. Maybe, just maybe, they've cracked it. I hope so.
