Agreed, this diverged so far from the book, which have read twice but some years ago, I kept questioning my memory! Glad I have read the link posted a few days ago now to satisfy myself that it was so different. Frankly I wouldn't bother watching a 3nd series if they should try to make one, whcih I hope they don't.
