Loads of talented artists at the Brits. And Robbie Williams too.

I thought Robbie Williams received a very cool reception from the audience. He didn't look too pleased, either.
Best two of the night for me, were, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran.

Bruno Mars was terrible, as was Katie Perry.

Robbie Williams was Robbie Williams and I thought Chris Martin did a great job with the George Michael cover. I really enjoyed it. Ed Sheran was excellent as were Little Mix and Emily Sandie. Nice touch with Bowie's son collecting his award too.

Overall I enjoyed most of it.

yep audience were totally uninterested. terrible song choices too. Robbie is becoming very un-relevant. His fan base is what, 45-50 years old now?
As he had his big show last year and closed the Brits then, why was he back again this year? Pushing his latest album which is dire quite frankly.
My 18 year old daughter said "frankly I'm offended by the use of the female of the dancers". She had looked up for 20 seconds from her iPhone, watched some awful cheese, and had her head down on the phone again in seconds. Sums up RW at the Brits.

The hosts last night at 9.45 were padding their links out too. It was winding up too early, the speeches were very short. The Brits usually runs over schedule, this one could have finished 10 minutes early.

There was no 'Rock-n-roll' about the night. I bet most were in bed by 10.30

I don't think I'd like the song much by Skepta, grime is not my thing - I'm way too old. But to have him on after 9pm and then murder his performance with the constant interruptions was dire.

To add to the comments- I'm not even sure that the Brits are relevant any more. As important as Bowie and George Michael are to British music, I feel that the raft of celebratory tv specials was more than enough - does a contemporary awards show need to keep having these memorials - CM is terrible at the best of times, yet once again, he is touted as the saviour of British music.

Sheehan did the job again. KP had relay issues and Bruno Mars put on a show. Not sure why skepta was muted - the line is "ring ring pussy" - hardly the worlds most inflammatory comment!

have a lol. No idea why that's offensive. If it is, those that know its offensive probably wouldn't be offended.

Its not my kind of music, but I respect the amount of energy he put into that performance. Seemed well received by the crowd too. You know, he ones that ignored RW.

Surprised no-one mentioned what a prize pr##ck Simon Cowell was as usual. Mind you given the target audience like RW and myself he's probably too old to be there.

Robert Williams, the gurning, head bobbing chimp struts on again for another Norman Wisdom impression. An irrelevant interruption to a contrived backslapping PR event.

It's not got anything I would want to watch anymore.

The last (and possibly only) thing on The Brits I enjoyed and would want to watch again is Bill Drummond machine-gunning the audience in 1992.

The flashcards showing up during The 1975's performance wasn't a hijack - the same messages appear in their video for that song. Possibly a bit of a dig to their critics over the years...

Problem is with that is as your watching it you read the signs and you sort of find yourself agreeing! Or at least i did. The critics nailed it, even though i sort of quite like the band just because mainly the singer seems about as odd as your allowed to be these days, but the signed were correct.
