The Nightly Show on ITV
Discussion
I see it was reported in the news today that The Nightly Show has now been successful in having the worst viewing figures of any show previously shown in the 10PM slot dating back a few decades
ITV's response has been to "hold crisis talks" and then announce that Dermot O'Leary (another personality already contracted to ITV just like all the previous hosts) has been contracted to host the show next week.
In an attempt to boost ratings they're also asking Ant & Dec to appear to promote their weekend show. Anyone would think ITV were getting desperate

The falling-ratings-spiral-of-doom continues with Dermot managing the lowest Monday performance so far with 1.6m. At that rate, it will easily dip below 1m before the end of the week.
Can't see anyone being able to save it now and it's going to become more and more difficult to sign up presenters and guests as the ratings drop lower and lower.

How low can Davina go?
I bet she can go pretty deep. Unless she's prepared to do that on camera rather than on the casting couch I don't see her flogging life into this dead donkey. It's utter ste and as I despise all the people involved it's 'happy days' to quote one of CH5s most winningest programmes about Benidorm. ARF .
Gordon Ramsay has been announced as the host for next week
ITV have said he was always earmarked as a potential host and it is in no way related to the fact that he's just signed a big money contract with ITV to host / produce at least 2 new food based shows over the next 2 to 3 years for ITV1 & ITV2.
Yep, that's a totally believable coincidence there and not at all self promotional then
