Not surprised the Caralot place went skint they were clueless.
Just seen this:
The council said the business failed to accept its responsibilities in resolving complaints, publishing misleading statements and omitting vital accurate information about their vehicles.
It also said there was evidence of aggressive sales practices and digitally signing finance agreements on behalf of customers without their knowledge.

Watched the first 2 recently, love it how simple life is for non petrol heads..visit forecourt / like car / drive car / don't haggle much on price and BANG they buy...
I guess that's why there's so many threads on here about poor experiences when buying a car. Salesmen can't be bothered with a customer who might have their witts about them when someone such as those described above will be along shortly. When we purchased her new one together she looked into all the details, features and knocked the price down, new tyres and a free main dealer service. Plus a very good trade in on her old one. Also it was not the first one she drove either.
She told me that before she was almost afraid to ask!
Was I the only one to spot what was pretending to be lurking at the back of Caralots workshop in episode 3 (might have been 4, I watched 2 at a time). I pointed it out to the wife and even she thought it was a bit sad! I'd like to think its an in joke with the two who run it and they weren't trying to fool anyone...

Hi, just realised this programme was on tv. Just seeing if anyone else has seen it.
Having watched a couple of episode's I'm not totally convinced. The idea is good but everything seems set up for the cameras and the dealers are just irritating. Could have been much better.
What are your views?

A MK2 VW Scirocco badged up as a Delorean even had a comedy numberplate and I'm sure it had something on the back of the roof.
Raised quite a lot of money for charity with that on a banger fancy dress European charity. And Nurburgring keeps wanting to auto-correct as "nut burgling".
