Caralot closed down in November so I'm surprised they've still aired it !

Makes Derby look nice...but no. Not a good programme and confirms all my prejudical stereotypes with regards to used car dealers. Having said that, I'm watching it now on Dave ja View

Is this the programme with Geoff Cox dealership?

I almost bought a Subaru XV from the beardy salesman 3 weeks ago.

The bit where he gleefully told the camera that he'd sold a "warranty" for £275 but it didn't actually cost them anything....

Preproduction the producers probably spent days devising ways and plots to make these guys look like total wkers but come filming soon realised their subjects were pure naturals

I purchased my STR from Caralot nearly 4 years ago , they acted like rich kids with money to waste sat in the portacabin like Princes. Gave me a grand above WBAC over the phone for my p/x without looking at it , Mrs.I decided day before exchange to drive car into corner of our house damaging wing and bumper...Caralot didn't knock a penny off the trade-in.
I luckily got a good car from them with £1k off the screen price after pointing out cheap tyres and poor spray painted alloys, no warranty issues with the included 6 months. I would imagine they bodged my p/x and onto some poor unwitting sap.

They called and left me messages for a week about my trade-in as it really was a dog , their fault for not checking it over. I drove there expecting to have at least £2k haggled off the p/x price but they were too cock sure to look.
There's loads of complaints on the net , warranty monies pocketed and £100,ooo's debt.

Found this show funny. I was very glad to hear car a lot went under. The director with the hummer is the biggest bell end ever.

I'm surprised a company like Geoff Cox agreed to be on the show. It's a bit embarrassing for them.
