I’ll still watch the new show, I enjoy Edd’s bits but I also really like Mike’s.
Hi Mike.
Bit wide of the mark there, I'm nearly as tall as Edd if you want to draw a comparison... Believe it or not, some peoople can enjoy all aspects of one show.

It's like Fast'n'Loud, I like the spannering but I also really enjoy the bartering, the auctions, the general sillyness. The same as Chasing Classic Cars, these shows have a wider appeal than lots of people seem to think they do, otherwise they wouldn't be getting airtime...

After 130 odd episodes, what cars haven't they done?
Anything Vauxhall

Not that there are many worthy of their time but they haven't done any yet.

Wheeler Dealers stopped being good teh second they went to the USA in my opinion. Plenty of good shows over there already.

It really needs to end.

Or you could just stop watching it. rolleyes

I don't get why it "needs to end". If it keeps going but in a format that you don't like, then so what? Just don't watch it.

I don't want a show that's mainly Mike buying and selling cars, I find his whole style massively cringe worthy, and buying and selling cars is pretty dull.

The workshop bits are the interesting bits for me.

I felt that I could only put up with Mike because of the Ed sections.

I doubt there'll be any reason to watch any future episodes.

Trying to guess what shade of orange Mike is going to spray his face that week is quite engaging. As well as pondering whose syrup he's wearing.

Oh dear... Mike has been receiving death threats. Seriously not cool, what is wrong with some people?

That is frankly, insane.

However that is interesting. Seems like Ed is hinting Mike was quite instrumental in the direction of the show, hence pushing Edd out. Awks.

People that mentally ill should be locked away with no internet and nothing but Home and Away to watch. Surely that couldn't upset them... Seriously, sick in the head.

Quite glad Edd has come out and said they've had a bit of a fall out - that would be normal. Rather than the usual "we all love each other" nonsense. Adults (especially at work) sometimes argue, they make up.

I've met his daughter, she's still on her teens (my wife grew up with Mike's wife). She's a good kid, being exposed to death threats is seriously warped.

Awkward maybe but it doesn't sound like there is any bad blood, really. People are often surprised to hear that many successful on screen presenters don't do much outside of their work together. Much like anyone else and their work colleagues I guess?

Penn and Teller are well known not to really hang around with each other much when they aren't working.

Jamie and Adam from Mythbusters also do not.

And there are countless supposed stories about Clarkson, Hammond and May not seeing each other outside work.

None of this should really be that surprising to anyone.

But yet again, some idiots decide the best thing to do, is throw a hissy fit but their best idea is "I know, let's threaten to kill someone, because that's a great idea!" when of course, it is not.

Mike is very active on Facebook and Twitter promoting his business and the show, so it does have the unfortunate consequence that people will do their best to find out all of his personal details and use that to be dicks, to fill the holes in their own life I am sure.

Quite a few people are simply not sufficiently developed or evolved to cope with the extreme complexities of watching television. It's just too emotional an experience for them to process correctly and handle.
