Fast & Loud loses AK
Discussion
As mentioned I like bhin Rides right now, seems to be more realistic as well in terms of not giving stupid build times.
Watched the last couple of series and most builds are done over months or even longer, but it's customers bringing in their cars for work or restoration mostly not lets build a car for profit. I like it also shows the fact people drop in for smaller work like exhausts and such

There did seem to be an awful lot of their old cars in the background last night. I guess they aren't always sold on as quickly as they make out, but they must keep a fair few of them too.
You see a lot of their cars at Leake/Barrett Jackson auctions, the stupid deadlines (to keep the filming schedule on track) is one of the reasons that AK/KC etc left.RR has always made most of his money flipping cars the builds are a sideshow, read his book & he pretty much lays it bare.
I agree bhin Rides is very good, I have to say I enjoyed garage rehab too.
The Brown A Tudor has been there for ever, the Cobra was in the background which has been there for a long time and I'm sure the Hot Wheels truck was there too.
I really like bhin Rides, I really like most of the stuff they build. They've got some great craftsman there and aren't afraid to say they have cars in build for a long time. I do want to cut his beard though....

Garage Rehab is almost exactly the same every episode, again with the same product placement at the end of every show. Once you've seen one you don't need to bother again.
I quite like Diesel Brothers, but I much prefer Graveyard Carz.
I agree but I enjoyed it because I wanted to see who was & who wasn't doing well.I quite like Diesel Brothers, but I much prefer Graveyard Carz.
Graveyard Carz was far to painful.
Only discovered this a couple of months ago so chewing my way through old episodes, last one watched was at end of S2 when AK completed the pikes peak and was quite teary, really moving actualy.
from memory richard was quite leniant with payment on the falcon so hes not all bad.
Trying to watch in order on discovery is nye on impossible!

Maybe you only saw early GC seasons? It seems more focused on the cars in the later series. I can't be arsed with the "characters" but I like the attention to detail Graveyard Carz was far to painful.

Just watched the two hour finale of season 13 (just 6 episodes!) and really enjoyed it.
I personally don’t miss Aaron that much, he was a great mechanic but the show goes on. I don’t know if he will go on to regret leaving or not but it’s still great without him.
He’s got his own show on Discovery coming soon, I’d imagine it being filmed and produced by Richard Rawlings production company. Why is there not a bhin' Rides thread. The Ford Galaxie they finished this week was amazing. OK, wheels maybe not to my taste, but quality and detail everywhere. How much did the old bloke pay? Dave K stated they had 5000 hours of labour in it and I assume they don't charge at minimum wage?
