Just noticed this.

Bad move, I think.

Bit like PH closing its forums.

I used to watch a film then go to IMDB to read the trivia and goofs, then browse the message boards. They were useful and entertaining.

Shame they have gone.

That is all.

Whats the thinking behing closing them? Too hard to police?

It's owned by Amazon isn't it?

Perhaps it's a corporate thing?

A lot of it is this I believe. Also, the info contained within them has gradually deteriorated into a series of slagging matches.

I 'discovered' Reddit a little while ago and it's pretty much eclipsed all forums I'd previously visit. It is VAST and the Movies thread is usually pretty good (once you learn to filter out (or appreciate) the st posting!
