I knew something was going on from his Twitter feed, but looks like he has finally made it official.

I have loved all the Born/Reborn series (Westfield was my favorite)..

What car is he resurrecting or do we all have to tune in to find out? I'd like to think some 70's Italian exotica, Maserati Khamsin for me. Sorry if it's stated somewhere and I've missed it.

I loved all his 'is Born' stuff. Especially the early kit car stuff. I liked the way that he wasn't a professional mechanic and was learning things as he went along. He was just another bloke like the rest of us spending time endulging in his hobby.

Yes. The plane and helicopter ones are fascinating. Would love to watch them again

Same here. A couple of years ago Quest ran the whole series back to back over the space of a few weeks and I watched them all again. They were genuinely decent viewing and far better than some of the shows on nowadays with all the fake "will it be ready or not" jeopardy.

Excellent viewing, especially the later ones when Pete became part of the show with the banter smile

Yep. There are posts on Mark Evans Facebook from Pete himself, most recently discussing how happy they were about their show being named one of the iconic car shows on TV.
