Pants. We recently ditched Sky and went over to Virgin. All is well, the new Tivo V6 (latest!) box is very easy to use and the catch up, box sets etc, very good. BUT - we no longer have Sky Sports F1, and will have to rely on Channel 4 cover, which AFAIR is only every other race. To my horror I have seen that C4 is NOT even covering the first race in Australia, just highlights. Pants.
Is there any way I can get F1 races on line free?

You can add Sky Sports to your Virgin bundle, for a fee. Or the only legit way to stream F1 is via Now TV.

Plenty of ways to get it. Some of them even legal!

A now TV weekly pass using Topcashback is reasonable. There are often pass codes on ebay for 'entertainment' but I'm not sure if these are as good value for a Sports pass.

Buy a cheap satellite receiver, reposition your old Sky dish to 19 degrees east, tune into RTL (Germany) on the sat receiver and tune your VM Tivo to Radio 5 live audio. Job jobbed.

Wow! We have a Ross satellite receiver and sat dish which we use when we are away in the caravan. So we could set those up. However, I would prefer to do this in the caravan, which conveniently sits outside our house, for the sake of the family, who are not as hooked on F1 as I am. We still have our Sky box hooked up to the telly indoors, but we also have a spare Sky + HD box in the spare room. I suppose I could then set that to Radio 5 live audio? Might give it a go! Would there be a conflict between the Ross receiver and the Sky box when I am trying to play them both through the caravan TV?
Thnx again
Pete

Take a portable radio out to the caravan - that will be much easier.
