Just saw that old episode where the idiot Brighton cyclist got £700+£215 costs for no lights/red light jump/not stopping, all because he wouldn't listen politely to the words of advice the coppers wanted to give him.

There is a Lord!

I don't remember that one but basically you're showing what I will bet is a working man getting a 700 quid fine for nothing, and these career criminals who get 140 costs fine.

I think we need a return to physical punishment. Draconian measures are needed. I would happily knee-cap any of these fkers.

Man convicted of theft of the motorbike hanging out the back of the car that failed to stop, - £80 fine. Lol.

My excess I lost was 500 quid when mine got nicked recently. Plus all ththe oth r numerous expenses I suffered.

If I ever lose my job I will seriously become a criminal.

Least the Golf didnt seem to be damaged at least on the outside but that poor engine and gearbox.
Brakes were cooked as well! Going from the IR camera on board the chopper.

I would not want it back, and I hope that scumbag gets a sentence befitting of the career criminal he clearly is, but I'm not holding my breath. My guess is a 3 year ban (yeah like that will work), court costs of 39p and a 6 month suspended sentence.

Cracking bit of driving from the idiot in the white S3 going past the school. Guesses as to what penalty he gets?

ETA: £650 (or there about) and eight points, so no ban.

But [one] can get banned for doing over a hundred on a motorway without harming anyone. Great system.

What would happen to the Audi A3 chap - no insurance if it was void? That A3 must of had £6k odd of damage if not more.

I remember that one, proper funny. No doubt millions shouting at the TV 'not so big now are you you bell!'

Coolhands is equally correct though, a sad time when 'proper' crims get off with far lighter fines.
