That whole episode was absolutely brilliant. Would happily watch it again tonight. Kiell was a highlight, again. I wondered if it was a happy coincidence May wasn't available.
TBH Mae Martin was a competent contestant but a bit dull. Kiell actually looked genuinely miffed at times. laugh

Oh and YES to Morgana! biggrin

Am I right in thinking that each Champion was seated in the same spot as their series win?

I’ve probably got that wrong but it’s a bit spooky/conincidental if so scratchchin

Jo McNally
John Robins
Nick Mohammed
Sophie Willan
Steve Pemberton.

I don't think I know Jo McNally, I know John Robins from Bad Golf on YouTube with Alex Horne, Nick Mohammed from Ted Lasso, Sophie Willan is from Alma's Not Normal which I haven't seen, Steve Pemberton of course from Inside No.9, League of Gentlemen etc.

Pemberton should be a slam dunk given his wickedly creative brain. Robins I haven't seen much in standup but I do like his How Do you Cope podcast with Elis, he's a very complex character that will fly or fall I suspect and he's probably been torn with signing up or not. Not familiar with the other 3 but something tells me Nick has been in dictionary corner.
Nick Mohammed has a 'bit' where he correctly remembers the order of 53 playing cards (joker inclusive) and has solved a rubix cube on Cats Does Dountdown... now, I don't know if he can actually do these or it's all a trick - but if he can I imagine a memory of details will serve him well.

28th March guys, 2 weeks on Thursday.

Really looking forward to this one, so much potential in them all and keen to discover both Joanne and Sophie who up until this I'd never heard of.

She worked so hard on taskmaster, apparently that she rotted out the gusset of her playsuit, according to her podcast...

Sophie Willan - BBC have Alma's Not Normal on iplayer if you want to find out more. Supposedly mostly autobiographical!

I've always loved the 'Alex told me in confidence' moments at the start of every episode that Greg was on about there, been some belters over the years!
