I've always loved the 'Alex told me in confidence' moments at the start of every episode that Greg was on about there, been some belters over the years!

I struggled with most of the contestants to be honest- not much of a bunch.

I really enjoyed it, my wife was in absolute hysterics at one point which is a real rarity given who she's married to.

I only remember seing Steve Pemberton and Nick Mohammed in stuff previously but they all seem quite jovial and Sophie Willan seems like decent value as the irritated contestant that doesn't know what's going on a lot of the time.

I quite enjoyed last night's 1st show.

I did have a few laugh out loud moments. I guess I'm a dullard, WFH all the time. frown

I really enjoyed it too although I had to re-watch it this morning as after a few beers in the garage faffing with my bike it didn't get my full attention last night.

Sophie is going to be the standout for me I think, she's got that chaotic daft energy about her that makes for a great Taskmaster contestant, she's going to come last or second to last but she's going to provide the most entertainment on the way. Nick seems similarly inept task wise but his slightly camp Dracula get-up I find funny AF and same as Sophie I think he'll provide some laughs on the way. There's a part of me that thinks it'd have been a stroke of genius for him to have done the whole thing in character as Mr Swallow...

Joanne, John and Steve I don't think we've seen enough of yet. I think they could all be taking it quite seriously though which bodes really well for the team tasks as we could get some Gamble/Baddiel or Sanders/Sterling moments. I really hope Steve keeps up with puns in studio just to wind Greg up!

What a shame they didn't all follow Steve's lead in using the pet name Alex gave Greg prior to the prize round & really wind him up!

Yeah, I thought that was going to go somewhere but it didn't develop.

A funnier show, though I'm still not really taking to some of them.

I was gutted when Robbins killed that, ah well.

I like this bunch now, already provided plenty of laughs and none of them seem like dheads.

Steve’s calculator haiku was brilliant. I think he’ll win the series at this rate.

When does this air in the UK?

I’ve subscribed to a new streaming service which has all series and releases the current one on a Friday (not sure when - we watched ep2 at 8:30pm, which is 10:30am in the UK.

I’m trying to work out if they align release times.

I might know who wins before you do biggrin

Has the Irish woman had some work done? Her face looks weird (I'm no oil painting by the way)

She's called Joanne McNally and has discussed a love for Botox previously as well as lots of treatment she's had for quite severe dermatitis. Based on the close-up shots where she was making Alex uncomfortable I think she's also using make-up to "contour" her cheeks.

My wife tells me she also did an interesting podcast about Avril Lavigne being dead and them replacing her with another Avril Lavigne. I still think she's a vampire though.

She's definitely got the mental look about her.

Probably a great shag but there's the risk she might ice pick you.

We've commented that her face looks 'off' somehow and she has a nose that looks like it's done a bit of snorting.
