So glad I turned on my TV last night and instantly saw a close up of a head with no eye, thanks BBC!

The guy who needed his bladder removed was 83!

He looked far younger and fitter than the guy from last week with lung cancer who was 48.
That was probably why he had the operation, he'd have had to been fit enough to benefit from the surgery otherwise it'd just be palliative care
Looked like a good outcome with a much better quality of life to look forward to plus a good night's sleep, he said his record was 23 visits to the bathroom during one night! yikes

I can stomach most things but I had to look away earlier when they removed his eye.
It was very difficult to watch. I think I mostly listened to that part of the programme.

Poor sod hey. Looked like he'd had a lot of work done before.

I didn't particularly think the BBC filming his diet at the end though was a good idea, Red Wine and Cheese desert!

As for the guy with Eye cancer it wasn't as gruesome as I thought it would be when they cut it out, I thought he was really strong mentally around it, but it looked terminal within 6 months so I think I'd had been.
