Secondly, a kind of 60s spy adventure and there are two female villains, ending with one of them at sea with a bomb in her wig. WTF? confused
Once again must have been pre 1980 and on late on BBC2

Found it! cool

After all these years of wondering what it was, a few turns and clicks got me to:

Deadlier Than the Male from 1967. smile

Poor Sylva Koscina at the end, blowing up like that. frown

I knew the bomb was in her wig. laugh

Anyone recall Star Wars robot chicken ep where it starts with the EMperor falling and tells his story in flashbacks to music, what film is that scene aping?
Ive just noticed that the start of this SmackTalk review uses the same music/style as the robot chicken scene you were after:
https://youtu.be/r5UywhbxiFE?t=40s

However, bit of research (busy day at work....) has uncovered that its not from a specific movie, its a meme known as "record scratch - freeze frame"

I remember seeing a movie a while ago where at the end the protagonist is walking across a road and a dumpster / skip falls on him.
I was telling a colleague about it and tried to find a clip or even any mention of it online returned no result.

Did I dream it? Hopefully someone can help...

With respect. I’m sure you thought your addition was cutting edge humour, but it’s absolutely pointless.
I really don’t understand the motivation on posting on a thread when you’ve got nothing to say or add.
I didn’t say it wasn’t a rubbish ending or movie. The film was so good the ending is literally all I can remember about it.

Did the skip have a parrot in it?

Didn’t one of the characters from Once Upon a Time in America end up in a dumpster?

I wonder if anyone remembers a film set in Glasgow about ice cream wars, being investigated by a local newspaper journalist. He had a BMW 3 series e30. I think it had Bill Paterson in it, but nothing on his IMDB page looks like it.

Okay so here's a challenge, really old film, but in colour. Been after it for months but all I can remember is they go underground and meet some albino people. I remember them building up defences in caves against someone...

A Doug Mclure film, either "the land that time forgot", or "at the earth's core"?

Albino made me think "the omega man" but don't think that's in caves...
